When you fail one of the case it gives you the option to load, restart the story, or free play.

So knock yourself out.

Fucking shit I fell asleep in the middle of attempting 5 and 7 day survivor for DR1, I woke up with a nice god damn stat screen infront of me.

I was on day 4, what a waste of 5 1/2 hours.

I focused my entire first play through on saving survivors.
I did every scoop I received, but did not do ANY of the main story.
Every.
Scoop.
And I didn't rescue 50 survivors.
RESCUING THOSE THAT I DID WAS HARD ;_;

Jesus christ, this game is an asshole to you. I realised at the last second I had no weapons, no food and I hadn't saved in 40 minutes. I walk in there and they give me a fucking chef knife, wrench, baton and a lava lamp to kill the twins with. Oh and whipped cream and fire extinguishers, that's useful. So I figure I'll just leave, well it fucking locks it. So I figure I might be able to kill them anyway, but I can only use booze to heal. As soon as I have to roll or hit them, BAM PUKING. Needless to say, I died.

You won't get all 50 just from doing every scoop, there are survivors that you never get a call about.

:| I didn't know I was going to face a boss when I was going there, and save points are few and far apart. I was given no direct indication that there would be a boss fight, the only food was puke inducing liquid and there was no reason for the door to be locked.
