Dead Rising Megathread v.2 - Everyone knows Slappy! - Games

You will unlock some, but you are slow as fuck and your attack is weak. Also you don't get all of your combo cards but the good thing is that are some more combo cards. I just love the reaper :3:

I thought frank didn't have a scene when making something, but he did and it was awesome...Well with the finished face.

Playing Dead Rising 2 got to Overtime mode, it was pretty easy but I raged quit when I died during the fight with TK, namely because it was hard and unbalanced as shit. [editline]28th December 2010[/editline] or who knows, maybe I just suck at this game

So I got this game for christmas (non-steam) and when I installed it GFWL told me it had to verify the release date or some other shit and so I press ok and everything and then it tells me this: "games live has detected a corrupt file please reinstall and try again" So I reinstalled 2 times and it still says it. Any ideas?

Never had too much trouble with it.

I mostly raged quit because I forgot to save and I had just done all those objectives and fetch quest bullshit.

Alright I fixed the startup problem but now fucking GFWL tells me it needs to update the game and so i am like alright go ahead i like updates... BUT NOOOO it tells me to close the game and it will finish updating and then it gives me this piece of shit error: "Failed installing title update see log at BLAH BLAH BLAH for details" I researched a little and it seems to be a common problem

That and the fact that my machine is starting to show its age and I just can't be bothered to upgrade every few years when I can just buy a console instead. --- Anyhow, are certain weapons like the flamethrower or freeze gun effective on bosses/psychopaths? As in, will it set them ablaze or freeze them temporarily?

There is actually a save zone where chuck the role model was. Just look at your map near near the arena and you should see it.

Woo got that fixed but ran into other problems (performance) I seem to be getting low performance and someone told me it might be because of (stupid) GFWL running with the game... Anything I can/should do?

As in, will it set them ablaze or freeze them temporarily?[/QUOTE] Well despite it being unbelievably easy to pop in a new CPU or GPU in the span of a few years (it takes seconds to replace a GPU, maybe 2 minutes to get the heatsink off a CPU), it isn't like the console's are getting upgrades, so buying a decent computer will last you just as long as any console. The next time I buy a computer, I'm getting a custom built rig so that I can swap pieces as required.

Why did Capcom deem it necessary for a game that, most of the time, has you fighting and countering zombies to all of a sudden pit you against a guy with a chainsaw you can't stun or counter?

This game is so fucking fun, but all these escort missions and time limits are seriously starting to piss me off. It's like an entire game designed around the 2 key game elements I hate most. But it's okay because I can strap assault rifles to electric wheelchairs.
