The boss fights are annoying. Really. I mean, I mostly die in every boss fight, like [sp] Slappy's [/sp] boss fight or the [sp] wedding mission boss [/sp]. I like the game but the bosses are just plain unoriginal and quite impossible to beat.
And your strategy to fighting these bosses is to charge right in and beat them up right? Honestly the bosses are easy if you don't rush into their face. Also I need 6 more survivors, 2 military guys and the Tape it or Die group.
Tried the demo for Case West, it was awesome.
Holy hell, I thought the latest post was like two days ago, but two weeks? Anyway anything I can do while I wait for the next missions? After I finish the case of course. Dead Rising 1 fyi, finally bought it.
Go kill Cletus, wait for Adam's mission(Out Of Control iirc), kill him and get his chainsaw, then get three books, criminal biography from the bookstore by the space rider, entertainment in the bookstore in paradise plaza (it's by the tiny moat of water), and the last one I'm not too sure about. After all that the small chainsaw will last seemingly forever, and provide lots of entertainment.
I am level 5 i think, i would have no way of killing Cletus and Adam, i died in Calito's battle, and then after i finished it the first time, convicts ran me over, but i finally killed Calito and dodged the Convicts.

Don't bother with Cletus until your 2nd playthrough and Adam is easy as hell.
Ending S is only canon to Dead Rising 2 without playing Case West, Ending A is canon if you do play Case West.
i think you mean that the other way around? [sp]chuck dies in ending A[/sp]

Is it possible to take a save from one profile and put it in another in the Games for windows live accounts?
CARLITO What kind of name is Calito. Immediately leave the store, and make sure only one door is open, then position yourself so that your gun is the only thing pointing out of the door. Unload into Cletus until he dies.
Ok I'm really starting to get irritated, anyone that has saved the Tape it or Die crew help me out. I go to the door in the Kokonutz sports store on day 3 6am-12pm but the door is ALWAYS FUCKING LOCKED no matter what I do. Do I have to save any survivors prior to getting them? I've looked on other sites and it says I don't need other survivors alive and yet they never spawn for me regardless.
This game fucking lies. I expect 72 hours of REAL TIME gameplay per playthrough, not what seems like 72 minutes!
This game fucking lies. I expect 72 hours of REAL TIME gameplay per playthrough, not what seems like 72 minutes!
72 minutes doesn't even get you through to the 2nd day.
72 minutes doesn't even get you through to the 2nd day.
I was using a hyperbole.
Somehow, I found finishing Dead Rising 2 immensly satisfying. It was just great beating a reasonably difficult and epic feeling final boss, watching him die an awesome cutscene death, and then having the credits song pump me up for another playthrough.
Did you get ending S or ending A?
I got ending A, then returned to my last save and got ending S.

I was talking to a survivor and of course they joined, and then the fucking coop asshole has the balls to say "Omg [yes he O-M-G] you stole my survivor". He then starts beating the shit out of him with a god damn lead pipe.
I love going around and just curbstomping everything. boxes, suitcases, corpses, floored zombies... Anything I can't stomp either gets thrown at zombies (usually cash registers and Bowie Knives) or drop-kicked and then curbstomped. Also, I'm still pissed off that all the Psychopaths are so overpowered.
Does anybody know why Denyce is the only Survivor with a Death Scene?
Does anybody know why Denyce is the only Survivor with a Death Scene?
Probably because she was the first survivor and, to the new player, usually the first to die. That makes her special.
in dr1, i always thought those short survivor death/zombification scenes were interesting because even for a veteran player, seeing those cutscenes was a pretty rare occurrence because of the fact that you could usually just kill them yourself or take them back to the safehouse.
Fuck, I hate these level timers.
Fuck, I hate these level timers.
I couldn't agree more. Hopefully the next game will have a sort of "sandbox mode" that isn't motherfucking Infinity Mode.
Could someone please post the PC skill move combinations? I've found a list of what they do, the 360 controls, but not for PC and I can't remember some of them.
I couldn't agree more. Hopefully the next game will have a sort of "sandbox mode" that isn't motherfucking Infinity Mode.
I haven't finished the game yet (level timers!), but, tell me, in the end, do you get the keep playing?
I haven't finished the game yet (level timers!), but, tell me, in the end, do you get the keep playing?
No. You can however start up a new game with all your previous cash, experience, and combo cards/scratch cards.
No. You can however start up a new game with all your previous cash, experience, and combo cards/scratch cards.
Yeah, and just ignore the missions. That's what I thought I'd have to do :sigh:
Is there a fix for laggy mouce movement on the pc?
Well, I've learned the hard way that at the beginning of every new mission, you should make a save to fall back on when you inevitably run out of time so you don't have to restart.
