Not much known about that, but my theory is[sp]that he goes crazy after seeing a pool of blood where katey was/is and see's frank[/sp]yes the[sp]pool of blood[/sp]is confirmed to be in-game I think. But it likely is.
Hold on is the story supposed to happen before or after DR2 ? Because Chuck looks more used though there are screens of things that obviously happened before.
I should have followed that game more.
Also if the sandbox mode is indeed a mode where you do whatever you want without any time limit (not like that bullshit free mode from the first game), instant buy. Also it would be cool if we had it at first launch and not after finishing the game completely or some crap like that.

It is indeed in the game, sandbox mode that is. This is not part of the main story but a Directors cut turned into a gam, Also what do you mean by that? Chuck I mean.

Well he could of Grown it over the days or he shaved before the game in the original DR2, but he didn't in this.
It's an alternate storyline. Chuck didn't arrive in the safehouse in time, Frank is here. They surely had to change some things to get Chuck as a psychopath, but like I said, it's an alternate storyline, it's a what if. There's also chances that Chuck did not participate in TIR, and maybe he didn't even come from Still Creek.
Also, you can see the dildo weapon combo in the trailer.
NEW CUTSCENES MEANS NEW PUNCH LINES! HELL YES!

I really liked Chuck, it will be a pleasure beating the fuck out of him.
His daughter was a pain in the ass though.

I'd imagine he'll be a psychopath/survivor, much like Bibi or Snowflake.
I'd be interested to see if Frank might be able to reason with Ted where Chuck wasn't.

Hey, I hadn't thought of that. Maybe there's hope yet.
Though this may lead to a depression situation in which I've beaten him and I'm all like "C'mon Chuck, let's go!" and then he just falls over dead.

For some reason i cant log in to windows live to play Dead rising 2 for PC, does anyone else have this problem? every time I go to log in I get a message like this

Off the Record is the game DR2 should have been in the first place.
But there's STILL a few issues I have, mainly to do with Frank's nerfed agility.

He still, like Chuck, has to stop to swing a chainsaw for example. In DR1 you could flail it madly as you ran. And even at the top speed, Frank is half as slow as he was in DR1. I mean I know he's aged but come on man. It's just not as fun.
So has anyone here got OTR apart from Rusty? Being in Europe the game does come out for another 3 days and I want to know if it's any good.

I find that I am enjoying it a lot more than I did Dead Rising 2. It is what DR2 should have been.
They changed a few things, probably to match the style of combat that was originally in DR2, but overall, it if a very enjoyable experience.
hows the pc port
I haven't really heard much about this.
I doubt the pc port would be any worse than the dead rising 2 original.
Waiting for some recommendations for buying this, then I will check it out

In my opinion, so far it is a fantastic game.
The only drawback I see is that Frank needs Zombrex every 24 hours, but it is more convenient than having to find some and run back to Katy to administer it to her.
