Installing it right now, but since my Internet's in a rough patch right now, it probably won't be done in a while. Anyone want to play Dead Rising 2 in the meantime? My GamerTag is SergantGeneral.
Ha ha, the Snapshot move is fucking great.

Isn't that the one where Frank grabs a zombie and makes it look like he's a douche on vacation?

Also fuuuck me, times running up and I only have 500k, I can't fucking believe the game wants you to grind 1 million
Yup

psh i had 600k when that quest started im a dead rising xpert
knocked off slots with a gambling book then got mad and blew them all up, 100k in minutes

Umm, anyone else suffering from severe performance issues with this? I could run DR2 on high setting with no problem at all; here, the cutscenes run fine, but the TIR game is unplayable due to lag.
My game does run a lot worse, I get as low as 25fps when I'm outside and there's shitloads of zombies. DR2 always used to keep above 60
Are the survivor death animations back? I think I read something about the developers bringing them back.
Ha, I really didn't feel like helping the bitch who wants you to get naked, so I hit her until she mutinied and came after me, naked, with only her fists. The combined PP from photographing her demise and subsequent devouring by the mob I led her into leveled me up. :v:
Did anyone else just kill that asshole that asks for money if you want him to follow you? I gave him the first amount he asked for, but then he asked for more, so I just beat the shit out of him.
i always give everyone whatever they want
you get rewarded for it in the long run

I've since found the Level 3 gambling magazine so I'm making money hand over fist. Went from 20k to 80k in about 2 hours.
I'm at 8,000 kills in sandbox, have the 1 million I need, though now I'm at a block, do I go for the first big kill achievement or what, I'm halfway there and I'd hate to lose progress on it.
If I save in sandbox and come back does it reset my killcount like the campaign? I really want to continue the story now that I can but don't want to fuck up my sandbox right now
Probably going to buy that on PC so I have trainers and mods. DR2 was even better when you installed mods like being able to carry ultra-heavy objects in your pockets (oh hey I left a bench and a giant pink chainsaw in my jacket), changing the game's graphics, etc.
Well, looks like Off The Record simply doesn't want to let me play it. Ran DR2 at high settings without any problems; now, on a more powerful system, I can't even get it to run on low settings without game-breaking lag. =/
You'd think that after 3 games, they would know how to make good boss fights, but no, every single one of them are still complete utter bullshit. Cause a boss that can hit you from miles away, takes down a whole health square with one hit, none of his attacks are possible to dodge is totally fair and fun.

Let me guess, Chef Antoine? :v:
Wowzers. Collect enough keys, go to the bank, and you'll be swimming in fucking Zombrex and money.
Man I just hauled the old guy and his son in law with the protoman helmet through the whole mission with Rebecca. That was fucking tough considering this is my first dead rising game. Luckily I found beer everywhere to keep them alive but fuck me.

I just found the Dildo Launcher combo
THIS IS THE GREATEST GAME IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND
It's just me or you can't use the football charge attack of the Sports Fan Outfit?
So which telling of DR2 did you guys enjoy more? Chuck or Frank?
So which telling of DR2 did you guys enjoy more? Chuck or Frank?
Definitely Frank's.
I disliked Chuck's telling of DR2 because you had to go way too much to the headquarters/saferoom/whatever for your daughter.
Off the Record is the game DR2 should have been in the first place.
But there's STILL a few issues I have, mainly to do with Frank's nerfed agility.
[editline]12th October 2011[/editline]
He still, like Chuck, has to stop to swing a chainsaw for example. In DR1 you could flail it madly as you ran. And even at the top speed, Frank is half as slow as he was in DR1. I mean I know he's aged but come on man. It's just not as fun.
Aged? How long was the gap between Dead Rising 1 and 2?

5 years I think.
