I got a little problem. Otis refuses to call me for the cult scoop. I already encountered the fuckers in front of the cinema, but the next one doesn't trigger. Wiki says the scoop begins at 12am on day 3, but it's like 6am already and I'm still waiting. What do I do? Did I miss something?

Back when I was still naive and could be frightened easily. The first time the lights wentry out, I jumped so hard that it made me drop my controller. I spent the rest of the in game night hiding in the nick-nack store with the door shut, too afraid to leave.

Usually I still have 2 full sniper rifles left after fighting carlito for the first time, so I just stand behind the card stand and shoot him in the face till he dies.

I like how a lot of achievements in the first dead rising require you to do more than just "complete x" or "collect x amount of thing". It actually makes me want to do achievements.
That's because Deadrising 1 came out when achievements were a new thing, so they really took advantage of that system and got creative.
I'd say the grindiest achievement is either zombie genocide or 7 day survivor. Currently working on the genocide achievement right now. Thank god for the maintenance tunnels

Apparently OTR is completely broken on PS4. The game won't even start up, which is weird because I played it a few days ago. Hopefully it's fixed soon.
I'm thinking about getting this but everyone just keeps reminding me how trash the follower AI was when I express interest. do you think capcom or mods will fix it at some point?

Even if survivors are totally inept, the game's fun and has plenty to offer otherwise. It's so liberating when you're getting frustrated escorting survivors and you say "fuck it" and deliver some sick as fuck knee drops onto those worthless nerds and then go off to wander around in the food court again. :v:
As frustrated as I am with this game, it is super satisfying when you finally get things done, and even more satisfying when you replay the game and no longer have to give a fuck about anything.
Am I alone or does DR1s 360 facial models seem much less dated than DR2s in comparison? edit: survivors and PCs specifically, zombies look far better imo.
dr1 just looks a lot better than 2 in general
i think the first game being on the mt framework has something to do with it just looking more sharp than 2
It makes sense that DR1 looks better because it released much later on PC
Lip syncing in DR1 is waaaaaay worse though.
