I'm not an expert on plastics or molding or manufacturing in general so this is probably impractical and difficult as hell, but I think it would've been cool for the smash amiibos to have an assist trophy like clear dome surrounding it so that you didn't need those "transparent" bits. Then you could support all kinds of ridiculous poses.

I got 7 new amiibos yesterday (Marth, Dark Pit, Falcon, Big Mac, Green Mario, Fox, and Falco) and the new stand. With my birthday coming up I'm bound to probably get a lot more.
The only amiibo I asked to get for Christmas was Dr. Mario and that one was apparently "lost".
Man, completing a set in Australia must be super easy. I'm visiting family here and between 2 stores I saw 90% of Amiibo I could remember. Funny enough, they were mostly missing super commons like Mario, Luigi, and Peach.
if you live in the UK I think GAME has amiibos on sale right now. Got to the till with my Dr. Mario one and it was about £5 off
game piss me off, they have shelves full of chibi crap and amiibo's but only about 10 wiiu games in the whole store and even then they dont even have stock of bestselling titles
does xenoblade chronicles x have amiibo compatibility? its not on the nintendo list but chronicles 3d is

Picked up Falco and Inkling girl today, kind of surprised that Falco had a price drop though, considering that he was one of the last Smash amiibo to be released no less (barring DLC, obviously). i don't think he was even discounted for Black Friday. Yarn yoshis were also discounted to £14 except for the Mega. have to admire the Splatoon amiibo though, having bright colors and non-human proportions really played in their favor as a series.

Really loving this Shovel Knight Amiibo, one of the few Amiibos I cared enough to want to pick up, it's nice to have some merch from one of my favorite platformers from last year.
It's a damn fine quality model too, really looks good on the shelf.
