That's up to the consumer. Restricting what a person can buy is extremely anti-consumer.
Plenty of stores enforce limits on how many people can buy at a time for a certain product.
The people who actually have a good reason to buy 4 or more amiibo are far outnumbered by the scalpers who just want to make things [B]harder[/B] for consumers

Some stores are in fact electing to enforce hard limits on amiibo, because while supporting mass-buyers might benefit them short-term, they're losing consumer faith for not being able to provide honest customers with what they want, and losing sales of other items as a result.
There's also those assholes who horde amiibos to resell them at high prices. Amiibos are literally becoming a commodity.

I went and stopped by my gamestop to make sure mine was still there (I heard horror stories of gamestops switching them to Sheik on accident) so hyped for that.

I don't see why you'd want to limit sales at one store, it's not like they can't just evenly split all the sales across a multitude of stores.

I think it's more important to watch the store websites than the Direct. Once the stock images are released, Gamestop/Amazon/etc are going to put their pre-orders up soon after.
Pac-Man & Game and Watch, need me a Game & Watch amiibo. guess they'll probably release the New 3DS release date and a western date for Xenoblade Chronicals 3DS, the IR Amiibo dock (..it'll be like gamecube bundles, won't they?)
