Won't change much at all since the demand for the fucking things is still very high. Really pisses me off that I have to constantly check all the NA stores that carry Amiibos to find out if they put the next wave for pre-order.

Apparently it comes from the twitter of the Nintendo Minute girl, @breath0air.
I don't have any pics or proof of it happening, but a guy who came into my store yesterday said he was a friend of a gamestop owner, and the owner let him have a shulk for free. He seemed surprised to know shulk isn't released yet, so it sounds reliable that they're getting shipped out to stores right now. I've also heard reports of other gamestops getting their shulks in via reddit. grain of salt.

Christ what is wrong with me. I went and done a third pre-order of the wave 3/4 amiibos from an import store. Nin-Nin Game to be exact. I read a bit online about it and from the reddit site and they seem like a good store. Regardless, I now have three standing orders. Toys R Us, Gamestop and NNGame. This shit puts a damper on my wallet but at least I will have the option to return the duplicate amiibos to TRU and GS for refunds.
I hope Nintendo plans to release the final characters mid year.
If anybody needs wave 1 amiibos, Walmart's site has Mario and Peach for about $9 each if you use the in-store pickup option.

Wanted diddy kong since he got a price drop too. Did somethin and came back like an hour later and he sold out and his price went back up. :suicide: I bought him from the third party shipper anyway since amazon was more expensive with shipping + tax, oh well.

Yeah they seem to have gone quickly; I ended up having the clerk cancel my Peach I had shipped to the store because it was coming days after the Samus and Mario I ordered, but they were nice enough to give me the online price for her still.
I know "look at my collection!" posts are kinda lame (or at least they are on the subreddit where people post them every other minute), but man...

This feels so good. I've spent most of this month tracking all of these down and then some more time dealing with a crazy string of shipping problems because my local post office is suddenly really stupid this month. It all just made this moment even more rewarding, though.
All that's left is Wii Fit Trainer, and she's already on the way in the mail. Waves 1 and 2 are pretty much complete. Once [URL="http://www.staples.com/office/supplies/StaplesProductDisplay?partNumber=323057"]a set of some cool, cheap stands I ordered[/URL] come in, I'm going to bust all of them out of their packages and set them up in a grand display.
Onward to waves 3 and 4...

Aww man, you should've said something; I have an extra Diddy as a result of a shipping error and would've gladly sold him for cheap.

I was following some color chart that was on Reddit. It was based on their in-game character select backgrounds, but I guess it doesn't actually fit the amiibo boxes.
