Bulk fee only applies if you get 2+ of a single SKU (and each amiibo has a different SKU)

AFAIK it's only going to apply to a few areas in the American midwest that are along key east/west routes, which have become repeated victims of "touring", as it's being called internally. Scalpers are driving back and forth, stopping at highway towns and mall plazas along the way, buying everything they can, and driving to the next point on their route to do the same again. A lot of the photos you see online of rooms filled with hundreds, if it's not the amazon hoarders, it's probably these people.

I believe I said this before, but all of this will just get worse and worse. It's pretty clear that Nintendo has no intention to continue the production of certain amiibos. If it's not related to Super Mario Bros or The Legend of Zelda, then it's going to be short of supply.
The only chance that we will get for a reissue is if it has to do with a new game they are releasing. For example; if it wasn't for Code Name: STEAM, we wouldn't be looking forward to a Marth reissue.

They end up producing 400,000 copies of Roy, 345,985 goes to Japan, 53,995 units to Peru, 5 in Europe at random stores and 15 to US, but only in Rhode Island.
Shiny-Palette Greninja was a production error and is going for $36,750 on ebay.

I said no but he told me to think on it. Is that actually a good deal or not? I really don't want to have to seek out the likes of Fox and Pit again.

Fox, Captain Falcon and Pit are all pretty goddamn rare. Link Bowser and Samus (depending on area) are all pretty common though.
I wouldn't do it because I'd have to import the first 3 most likely but it's a pretty even sale.
He's basically offering $20 for each, which is overpay for one half, but underpay for the other.
I'm still going to refuse if he asks again. At the very least there's no way I'm getting rid of my day-one Fox.
