Well don't just stand there, show us what's in the paper lunch bag!
It's actually not that interesting. The box is mangled beyond belief but the Rosaluma amiibo is in great condition somehow. Gonna put it in a different box when I mail it out though that's for sure.
So my Ike order has been delayed due to a shortage on inventory. :( The good news is that my Shulk amiibo has gotten shipped out!

It still says release is February 1st, but still no news. At least my Shulk amiibo has been shipped out as well!

Some Wave 4 amiibo are available for pre-order on the UK amazon site (not all of them) Search amiibo on the UK amazon and you'll find them. So far its Charizard and Wario. Also they got Ike, Lucario and more Fox.

Despite the conversion making the 13.99 to a 20, that's still cheaper than most other methods of grabbing em.

I am deathly afraid Charizard will be a store exclusive in the US. Aside from Fox it's the one I wanted most, and I am extremely paranoid it'll end up just like Lucario. Knowing my luck, it will, and I'll end up having to fork over $50 for the worst-looking one of a scalper's batch. Ugh.

So I was looking at the amiibos not yet released, and it seems there's 13 left plus Mewtwo. I think this would work out perfectly- wave 5 being made up of the last of the starting roster, being made up of Junior, Ganondorf, Greninja, Jigglypuff, Olimar, Palutena, and ZSS. The last would be all the hidden unlockables, that being Dark Pit, Dr. Mario, Duck Hunt Dog, Falco, G&W, ROB, and possibly Mewtwo. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if all the hidden characters got a trailer for themselves battling it out at E3. Of course, my wallet would be severely drained by that last wave, but I suppose that's my fault for wanting 16 amiibos.
Hell, if Charizard is exclusive here, I might just try and work something out with one of you guys overseas. If you can set one aside for me that has as few obvious flaws as possible, I'd happily pay more than you did for it, if it has to come to that. [editline]t[/editline] Ever since a friend ordered Little Mac from Japan and it turned out to have some ridiculously glaring defects, I don't trust buying from hoarders anymore; those sellers generally try to part with the ones they think look the worst, and leave themselves with the few perfect ones to keep.
Here's a scarier thought: Ness is a store exclusive. To Walmart.
So America will never get any huh? Walmarts in America haven't stocked amiibos since launch.
So America will never get any huh? Walmarts in America haven't stocked amiibos since launch.
I was about to correct you but thinking on it now I think you're right. Wonder if it's because their entire stock is yoinked from online shops first.
I was at my local Target today, peeking if they had any wave three amiibos, but when I got to the section, I see a bunch of a luigis and diddys, with the usual pile of Marios, Peaches, Yoshis, etc. and there was this terribly large man with a fedora holding two bowsers. He gave a huge grin at me and went "ha, looking for wave three and two? Haha, you wasted your time. I've got four people in different states looking for me. I've got just about the whole collection so far, I bet you only have series 1 commons." and he just continued to talk about all this, while I wanted to go on my way and shop for other things. He started following me and yells out "I bet you don't even have a Marth!!"(tip: I do). It was quite the experience. Anyways, I'm a little confused on distribution so far. What of wave three hasn't came out anywhere yet?

Having to explain themselves to management or getting kicked out is a pretty sobering experience for someone that smug.
I can't believe a lot of things happens in life, like the fact that amiibos would be such a pain to get in the U.S. due to inventory junk, but it happened. I'm just a man trying to collect a few figurines of his favorite characters. Edit: I wasn't even aware that counted as something like harassment. I just found the dude annoying, since I never asked for a conversation on why it's pointless to look and that it's hopeless, etc.
As someone who has seen SEVERAL people who match that seemingly absurd stereotype, I can entirely believe it. There was actually one guy really early on in the amiibo launch that was just sitting in the back of his pickup in Best Buy's parking lot, trying to sell the few dozen he just bought from that store at double the price. I think he got arrested.
I feel sorry for the kids these were made for. Kids want to buy their favorite character so they can play with them in Smash, but they are all being bought just to sell for higher prices on the internet..
You guys probably know the answer to this, will I ever get my Ike? I "bought" him off of amazon back in November and they haven't canceled my order yet. Amazon just tells me that they're "having trouble" shipping it.
I was about to correct you but thinking on it now I think you're right. They had 7 more left on Amazon when I ordered.
i was at a store a few weeks ago checking if they had the new amiibos (they didn't) and some kids and their mother walked up to the disney infinity section and the mother said "hey look kids the new disneys are out" and the kids got super excited over them i just thought it's a shame kids who would care about amiibos can't have that experience cus of the people described above

It's really heart breaking to imagine a kid asking "Mommy/Daddy, where's Ness? He's my favorite. I was really hoping *insert store name* would have him..." because some fat fuck bought the entire shipment.
Whoever thought store exclusives were a good idea needs to be fired. Because of it wasn't there like 15 of Roy in Rhode island or something?
Which of the Amiibo are considered rare? I was somewhat surprised to see a shelf full of Amiibo including Marths and WFTs here, I thought they were hard to find?
Off the top of my head the rares are Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Marth, Pit, Captain Falcon, Little Mac.
Which of the Amiibo are considered rare? I was somewhat surprised to see a shelf full of Amiibo including Marths and WFTs here, I thought they were hard to find?
They're hard to find in only America because NoA is stupid and didn't expect these to be popular
They're hard to find in only America because NoA is stupid and didn't expect these to be popular
Didn't expect? Ha they're doing this on purpose. No other company would do this
