i would think it was Wii Fit Trainer, Marth, Villager...Little Mac has the excuse of being a batch 1 whilst the other 3 are either popular-yet-underrated in Nintendo's eyes or is mostly valued by Smash fans. later on it expands to Rosalina, Ness, Shulk and Ike? Pac-Man and Sonic i could see being at least Little Mac tier but just because of copyright. Marth gets repros just because of Code Name S.T.E.A.M. alone.
Considering there's repros just because of an unrelated game, would it be that far of a stretch that Shulk might break some sort of exclusive by having more batches made for Chronicles 3DS, US Nintendo Zone is supposedly doing spotpass furniture downloads of former region-exclusives for New Leaf...theory being that they're getting ready for a Wii U animal crossing since closing down the AC Miiverse Plaza app. though AC is a wide series, so they would probably release mini Amiibos/Cards of some of the cast if Tom Nooks silhouette on the Amiibo promo means anything.
Pack a AC villager with Wii U AC game and they'll attract more definite sales than what people think Captain Toad's game+Amiibo variant would do outside of Japan.
Commons: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Pikachu. Medium: Link, Fox, Samus, Zelda, Diddy. High: Kirby, Captain Falcon, Toon Link, Ike, Sheik, Lucario. for fun i would guess that Little Mac is a Unicorn due to his series being popular in the west, but not that sizable compared to other series with multiple characters nor the public exposure of some series like Mario, Rosalina is presumably a unicorn because of store exclusivity and being a darkhorse even within Mario's series.
Whoever it was looking for Fox, keep an eye trained on Amazon, a batch popped up on Amazon for a short while this morning, so maybe there's more coming.

but gamestop cancelled my shulk pre-order so i wont get all of wave 3, i didn't even get a email or a phone call saying it was cancelled and i had to check my gamestop.com account.

Got my Japanese King Dedede today. It's so awesome, definitely the favorite of which I have (Little Mac, Toon Link). He's got some weight, which makes me wonder why he's so good at floating around the stage.

Coincides nicely with the rumors Nintendo is upset at Best Buy for how they've been handling preorders and amiibo distribution (being the #1 brick-and-mortar scalper hotspot in the US, making a lot of customers angry)
The Majora's Mask n3DS problems were supposedly the cause of the Meta Knight delay, Nintendo lost a lot of faith in the store after seeing that screw-up. This might be the start of the big N attempting to cut ties with them.
I just noticed, Why does the UK have a Nintendo Store online you can buy amiibos from, but no where else does?
I just got a call from GS, Shulk incoming towards the end of the week guys.
My Villager amiibo got pushed back a week on delivery. And I was about to ask Amazon for a refund because the guy I bought it from hasn't been very truthful with any of his customers and no body has been getting their packages. He was a 4 star seller when I bought it from him, now he is a 2 star.
If you preordered Sheik and Toon Link at gamestop [b]call them now[/b]. I just picked mine up and they only have a 2 day holding period.
If you preordered Shulk or anyone else [b]CALL TOMORROW AFTERNOON[/b]. People have been getting texts all day about shulk showing up tomorrow.

Sounds like me and my Little Mac, got the only one where I live, period apparently just by walking in. I just kinda bought him on a whim "I wonder if he's gonna be rare" and went home.

Toon link is in stock on gamestop's site at the moment if anybody wants to grab one. I almost grabbed one, but I think I'll wait for the store trip on Thursday to see what my Target has.
