Picked up a Bowser Amiibo today, there was like only 3 left. And i saw like 4 Toon Link's at my local ebgames.
Decided to get a Luigi amiibo yesterday, the sideburns look a little weird but overall it's pretty neat.
I was lucky since it was the third to last one.

I really want a King Dedede amiibo but every major retail store I live near is fresh out, and I don't want to pay anymore than $13. Is there anything I can do about it or is waiting the only solution?

All I want of this round is Ike and Megaman. If I can get either of those I'd be perfectly happy.
Hell, the Meijer near me had eight Sheik, but no Ike, and they didn't even have a listing for Megaman.
I'm very happy with my stock of Amiibos. I spent a bitch much on Little Mac and King Dedede, but they were worth it, and I got Mega Man for MSRP.
I want to get a Charizard one when he eventually releases. Not sure when that will be.

My guess judging by wave 3 so far:
Charizard - Common (plenty to go around)
Wario - Uncommon (3-4 left at the end of the day)
Pac-Man - Rare (not that easy to find, some stores don't carry it, but still obtainable with effort and persistence)
Robin/Lucina/Ness - Impossible (gone immediately, everywhere, every time)
If any are exclusive, they will immediately and permanently fall into Impossible tier.
I hope Nintendo do the NCP Card-thingy once the Super Smash Bros. figures are all done. Removes lots of stress for games that gives you unlockables from the amiibo,
Again, I really, REALLY hope Charizard isn't exclusive or underproduced or some bullshit like that. That's the one - THE ONE - I want most
Like I said before, if it happens to be nigh on impossible to get in the US, would any of you guys in less atrociously consumerist parts of the world be able to help? Maybe secure one for me? If my JP Pit arrives eventually, I'd happily offer to trade.
