The actual games aren't affected by this because they are light enough to be brought in by plane.

Also Dedede seemed to go on sale online at Target at the beautiful time of 6:31 in the morning and from the looks of it sold out the minute it went up.

I think it would work out in Nintendo's favor if they made a formal announcement about the reason for the shortage and do something like what Kenner did back when they couldn't keep up with the demand of the Star Wars figures and make IOUs.

Well, I filed for a refund on that JP Pit amiibo. Was supposed to arrive yesterday at the very latest, and the seller didn't respond to two messages asking what's up. Disappointed.

Okay, maybe not Diddy, but I recall Diddy being kind of uncommon initially so I just stuck with it. Point is, I just want to get a megaman without having to choose between standing in the freezing cold for a few hours or never getting it.

So apparently my Gamestop got a shipment of Sonics and Megaman today for preorders only, and I got a call saying I could pick my Ike and DDD up on the 25th. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

Yeah, if you didn't make your preorder before the 26th of December you're out of luck on getting Ike or Dedede at GameStop before the beginning/middle of summer.
