I think people may be using bots to secure amiibos off Amazon and other stores. That would explain how they go out of stock within a few seconds.

If so (and if the package is in good condition upon arriving) I might just leave it boxed because that's kind of neat actually.
I got mine to use. But if the box is in good condition then I will try opening the box very carefully.
Use thin fishing line to slowly and carefully separate the cardback from the plastic. Doing this will ensure as little ripping as possible.
I know it may be somewhat late or whatnot saying but man I can't believe how successful these have been definitely one of Nintendo's better business decisions in recent years

I just got my Luigi and I keep getting surprised by the quality of the figurines.
Then again, the simpler models like Kirby and Luigi don't have the same problem as complex humanoid ones like Link or poor Marth.
