I just noticed my Ike's sword is a little bent
I could've sworn it was perfect when released, I guess it's a trademark of the Fire Emblem amiibos for the sword to get flaccid over time.
I'd still say Ike is miles ahead of Marth in just about every way. Mold quality, paint, you name it. It's pretty clear their technique at making these things is getting better every wave.

Well Wave 5 is the big wave, 11-12 characters, so I'm guessing that most if not all of the rest will be released.
Or they might split that in half, and have the final wave being mostly/entirely unlockables like G&W, Dark Pit, Duck Hunt, ROB, etc.

Charizard, Bowser Jr, Ganondorf, and Duck Hunt. Those are the last four I actually care about, after I get ahold of those I'll be done forever.

I'd be surprised if there's only five. Aside from the ones you listed, there's still no Bowser Jr, Mr. Game and Watch, Ganondorf, Falco, Duck Hunt, R.O.B, Dr. Mario and Dark Pit, as well as potentially Mewtwo. Wave 1 has 10, Wave 2 had 6, Wave 3 had 11, and Wave 4 had 6. Following the pattern, there could be anywhere from 10-12 in the next wave, which would almost complete the current roster minus the Mii Fighters. I hope this is what they do:
Wave 5 (most common to rarest):
- Ganondorf
- Bowser Jr.
- Zero Suit Samus
- Olimar
- Falco
- Greninja
- Palutena
- Mr. Game and Watch
- R.O.B
- Duck Hunt
Wave 6:
- Mewtwo
- Dr. Mario
- Jigglypuff
- Dark Pit
- Mii Brawler (Reggie)
- Mii Swordfighter (Iwata)
- Mii Gunner (Miyamoto)
Having Amiibos of those 3's Miis would be a lot more of a novelty than just stock Mii Fighters. I'm not really expecting this, but it'd be cool.

I pre-ordered two dedede's from my local gamestop because one for me and one for a friend, and they said they'd call when they get stuff in. About a week ago I got an automated call saying it was regarding that, and I was excited til it said there were problems with stocking and they won't be in for a while, and that I'd get an update call "later this summer". I know the shipyard strikes have slowed down a bunch of stuff but what

People that ordered DDD after 12/30 had theirs pushed to the summer because Nintendo didn't supply them with the amount they needed.
Same with Ike, except that was after 12/25.
You may get one of your preorders cancelled if they're both under the same name. Technically it's only one per customer, but some stores are ignoring that. When you go to pick up your preorder they'll end up refunding your payment for the extra Amiibo(s).

So we now have a (sort of) date for Marth, and interestingly, Marth has reappeared in many store registries along with previous rares like Little Mac, Villager and Wii Fit Trainer as of about two weeks ago (Gamestop is currently the only one where you can see them listed publicly)...
Those might ALL be re-released on that date, not just Marth. He's the one they're pushing game compatibility with, so he's the only one they're talking about for now.

I want all amiibos to be common. I should be able to walk into a store and pick up an amiibo I want without having to go to 5 different stores and then finding out the only way to get the one I want is to pay some guy $100+ for it.

Otherwise neat, might just have to get a Villager along with my Marth if that happens.

I can see them doing that. Only advertising Marth because of his Amiibo function in a new game. Other characters like Wii Fit Trainer and Villager really don't have any thing coming out. They will just restock them without a word and act like they never were sold out in the first place.
