Also FYI that's about a 0.45in height difference (maybe ~0.55 on Peach). Pretty negligible in the grand scheme of things.
Imagine if most of the Smash cast didn't have stupid poses and actually ended up as big as this
Considering how theres several hundred poses Falcon can make without a Big Blue leg crutch while still looking like a complete badass I wish this was the case
Got a Gold Mario preordered, and a Bowser from the new line. Walmart hasn't delayed my orders yet, either which is cool. Apparently they're delaying Gold Mario orders by a week or two.

What even is meta knights pose? What is he doing that causes him to be in that position? [t]http://www.thetanooki.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/141119-MetaKnightAmiibo-e1416419920889.jpg[/t] "Look how long I can stand on the tips of my toes!"

So I found out someone in my local area does pretty good amiibo repaints and they take commissions, but the fact they only work on figures you own kind of terrifies me. Ideally I'd want Fox redone to look like this, but at the same time I don't want to risk it. The one I have is day-zero (got it before release date), and I don't think I'll be able to find another any time soon...
Gamestop has Mean Man and Sonic in stock. Should still be able to pick a few up. In other news my card is missing, thankfully a friend was willing to lend me theirs.
Megaman's initial drought is thankfully beginning to subside, which is excellent news for fans of the character who are still looking to nab his amiibo. Even if you're just tempted, go for it if you see one. It's in my opinion the best one yet, in just about every sense. You won't be disappointed. Ike and Dedede on the other hand... Most stores are only getting two of each in the next to-shelf (read: non-preorder / non-online-order) shipment, from the look of it. Those searching for either may find their options quite limited soon.
Ike should be much more common with steam coming out. Dedede might be a lost cause. Shame since he's part of the one series I NEED to have the entire collection of.
I dunno about where you live, but the Walmarts I live near seem to have at least 2 or 3 Fox amiibos in stock.
I have literally only seen Fox once, and I grabbed him when I did
I must have been really lucky every time I checked, or no one gives a damn about amiibos around here (which isn't true, or else I'd have King Dedede by now).
maybe he's getting decent restocks like shiek and megs
I've seen Sheik a couple times (Meijer), and Megaman only once (I was lucky enough to get first pick at an electronics store on a US military installation. Not exactly much competition there.) That aside (and Ike, who I got at the same time as Megaman), I've seen nothing but commons lately. Blergh.
So Walmart had WFT on sale for regular price. Only 2 of them For the entire internet AND GUESS WHO GOT ONE [sp]not me ;_;[/sp]
I'm curious to know why and how they had 2 just for sale for a second. strike shipments coming in?
I'm curious to know why and how they had 2 just for sale for a second. strike shipments coming in?
Probably found them in a warehouse/in the back if anything, like the "restock" of little mac and falcon
So, lately my friend and I have been going to various stores near my house daily. This happened at our local Best Buy. First couple of times we went we found nothing but a lot of these [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/49563908/20150213_105559.jpg[/thumb] Lately we've been seeing a lot of Lonks. [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/49563908/20150309_161004.jpg[/thumb] However, today we were expecting to see just the usual Mario's and Links, but we were surprised to find 3 of these fuckers.[thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/49563908/20150313_154926.jpg[/thumb] Today was a good day.
All those Marios who will never find a place in a nice comfy home. This is so sad.
I only know two people personally who bought Mario, and only because they're going for all of them. It's kind of sad until you remember that there are almost a hundred other Mario figures out there, most of which are objectively better. The reason stuff like Marth and Villager got snatched up so feverishly is because they've never had figures before.
Talking about amiibos, the closest store that sells electronic stuff (mediamarkt if you know it) in my area sells amiibos as well and still has shelves full of Marth and WFT amiibos. I was there recently and asked the guy at the video game department if they have other amiibos, he said they don't because no one is buying them. Luckily there is a gamestop five feet away that always replaces the last wave of amiibos with the current one :v:
I'd ask you to buy and ship me a Marth, but I'm still quite a ways out from my next check, and I'm trying to make every penny count.
I kind of wish Luigi had a different pose for his Smash amiibo, it would make it look a lot better with a Mr. L paint job.
this one might be better for it
So I'm thinking about getting an amiibo to do something a little unusual with... I want to take the figure off, and have it be just a little NFC puck I can carry around, maybe as a keychain. What's the cheapest amiibo that is extremely easily (and cleanly, as small and as few holes left as possible) separated from its base? And what should I do to touch it up so it looks nice after? [editline]16th March 2015[/editline] Um... Why the disagree?
Peach, Mario, Yoshi and DK are reportedly 8.88 at Walmart.
Peach, Yoshi and DK are the only ones marked down at $9.96
What's the best way to get an amiibo off the stand? Heat? Pull force? Just whacking it against something until it pops off?
