Yep, it's confirmed now. Minimum asking price on eBay is already starting to drop.
Pit is curiously absent though... Hopefully he'll be reissued later, I'd hate to see him become the new $80+ case.

Do not buy from Yesasia. They will wait 3 months, cancel your order, then give you a refund in store credit unless you yell at them over email.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. Thankfully, the prices on those two ARE lowering, as Everything pointed out, but most of the cheaper ebay auctions are $50 pre-orders for the yesasia shipments. :suicide:

Just for the hell of it I woke up early to get in line at my local Walmart, since I had to get stuff from there anyway and not many people in my area buy Nintendo stuff.
I was 11th in line, which sounds great except for the fact that THEY ONLY HAD 8.
Jesus, I know they'd be rare but only 8 for a launch? I expected nothing and I'm still let down.
Got everything from the first wave of SMB Amiibos, only missing Bowser and Gold Mario, but Walmart is shippin' them to me.
I was in GAME a few hours ago. they only had SMB Peaches and Yoshis left. weirdly the regular Amiibos were either restocked or just for some of the more recent characters. semi surreal to see Sheik in the wild, but its kind of mitigated when there's regular Yoshi/Peach, Samus, Diddy Kong, Pikachu, DK and 2 or so Links.
Still no Zeldas....i assume what remaining Ikes/Bowsers got bought during the heydey. Amiibo shipments looks pretty stagnant. unless when they ship amiibos, they only ship the series and nothing else. some miracle would probably happen, like that time i found an unbought Bowser and Ike in the wild.

Was like what I don't even care abou- she then revealed she actually got the SMB Luigi. "He's golden cause he's your favorite of the Mario's."
It made me feel better.

Scalpers are already reporting that the gold marios are poison; they're not selling anywhere near as fast as the SSB rares secondhand, despite the early rush. The average asking price has gone down over $30 since this morning.

Nobody in their right mind would spend $25+ extra for an existing amiibo painted gold
There are still plenty that are charging $50+ as of right now, but it's cooled down incredibly fast over just 24 hours.
I don't expect the hype to last very much longer.

I want that Gold Amiibo Mario just for kicks but where I'm currently living, Wal-Mart is non-existence. (Ignore the flag on my profile)
I did manage to snag a Marth, Wii Fit Trainer and Shulk online for a reasonable price online, but damn Villager is still freaking expensive.

Damn is it good, Nintendo did a good job with these things. Even the packaging was high quality, I was hesitant on taking it out. It was the last Bowser at the store, too!
I'm sad though, because I saw some price tag labels for Captain falcon and Donkey Kong, both sold out.

DK won't be hard to find. Bowser is one of the cooler figures, it's actually pretty heavy.
I think only Charizard is going to be heavier. Just eyeballing the sizes he looks like he has a little more mass in total.
(You have to consider the wings will be thicker than in the game. They'll HAVE to be, they'd be extremely fragile otherwise at that size)

I think Charizard will be tied with or below Dedede. The good king is the heaviest one I own.
so I picked up a second megaman amiibo and a Sonic in the hopes I can find someone locally whos competent at painting figurines. I have megaman as a backup, really, if it goes poorly. sonic I never really gave a shit about, so if whatever I plan for it goes south it won't make much difference. I plan on making it look like coldsteel the hedgeheg or something even shittier anyway

SMB Luigi is easily my favorite amiibo so far, the SMB line is really nice in general though.

Ugh, why the hell Nintendo decided to have the SMB Mario Amiibo only available in the MP10 bundle. I don't want the game, just the figure for my collection.
