Yeah, I just heat up my amiibo with a blow dryer (not too hot), move his stuff around, and dunk him in cold water.
You can do it with anything hot, like boiling water, but very hot stuff might melt your amiibo or give it noodle limbs.

This is also how you can fix flaccid sword syndrome on Marth and Link; warm the sword with a blow drier, compress it laterally along the blade with a chip bag clip, wait 24 hours, and viola.
Looks like there IS a perk to having the gold Mario. I really do hope someone releases some Amiibo Spoofer for shit like this. If it's in MP10, who knows what other goodies it could unlock in other games.

You get a random token each time you plonk down a amiibo, it's probably luck.

So, question, has anyone tried an Amiibo spoofer yet? I've seen some discussion on it about Android and what not, but not anyone actually trying it. It should be simple (permitting that Android supports the particular band that Amiibos use) to record a single and play it back at the Wii U, no?
I've got Amiibos, an NFC supported Android, and a Wii U. I could go take a look at Android's NFC API if it hasn't been tried before.
Amiibo spoofing cannot be done in the way you're assuming, for one very critical reason... The WiiU uses the shape of the amiibo's internal antenna to determine if it's valid and which one it is (there will be a certain number of "breaks" in the spiral, and how many are present and how far apart they are creates a morse code-like ID). Basically, a smartphone cannot change the shape of its antenna, so it wouldn't even be able to get past the authentication phase. That's a clever trick from Nintendo. Although, I never considered spoofing the entire gamepad. I've seen people use the Gamepad on PC, but never the PC as a Gamepad. Got a link to an example?

All of them, but this was before they limited them per customer, so within a few minutes of opening some greaseball would walk out with the whole stock.
The only ways to get Marth were to be fast enough to preorder, live in a state or country that doesn't care about games, or get stupidly lucky.

Gamestop confirmed they are doing preorders tomorrow, but they wont include Jigglypuff or Greninja sadly.
I'm still going to my local store right after classes end tomorrow to get Ness and Lucina.

I took a peek at each of the Twitter's of the retailers who got the exclusive amiibo last time and none of them have said anything. Also the exclusive figures had something on their page, the ones that might go up tomorrow don't have anything listed yet.

Amiibo of DLC characters will probably unlock that character for the account they're activated on (or at least allow them to be playable for that session regardless of user or system)
