I managed to preorder the Splatoon 3-pack from Walmart after I missed my chance at Gamestop. Now to just wait for those, and my Charizard and Ness.
I feel really bad for the people who's favorite characters are the rarer amiibos. I also feel like this is going to happen to me if I can't get a Ganondorf one.

Be warned, if you do preorder you'll just get store credit instead of your money back.
Fuck my friend found a store where they sell the new amiibos... for 49 euros. I don't even know if that's legal :v:
Robin and Wario look so good. I guess he [sp]tipped the scales[/sp] on the Fire Emblem curse.
Lucina, Ness, and Robin went up on Amazon France about 20 minutes ago, they both sold out in less than that. It wouldn't let me put Lucina into my cart and then the pre-purchase button disappeared shortly after. The amiibo adventure continues.

What wave is this? And Nintendo still can't get it through their heads that they need to stock more amiibo? The shipment strike can't be entirely to blame, right? Shit, couldn't Nintendo just start producing them locally?
My Ness has been dispatched Here he comes
If they were produced locally they'd be infinitely more expensive.
I'd rather pay $20-30 to Nintendo than $30-$200 to scalpers. Maybe they'd be a little higher quality too.
Honestly I wouldn't mind if they were 50% larger and better detailed, but cost $25-30.
I dunno I kinda like a teeny tiny collectible size. I mean some people are gonna have like 50 of these in their rooms
Honestly I wouldn't mind if they were 50% larger and better detailed, but cost $25-30.
As cool as the concept of... let's call them "Deluxe Amiibos" sounds, I'd be terrified of how much they'd be scalped. If, for instance, an Amiibo costs $12 (roughly) and they end up being resold for about $50 (in some cases) We're looking at about a 400% markup; meaning the $25-$30 Deluxe Amiibos would probably end up being $100-$120 a piece for the rarer ones, and I just frankly couldn't afford to keep up with that kind of spending.
I want the Ganondorf amiibo so badly and I know he's going to be impossible to get much like everything else. Maybe he'll be like all the other Zelda amiibos, they all seem to be more common.
Just got an email from Amazon UK on my order of a Robin figure, saying they got a very limited supply and it was on a first come, first served basis and don't expect a restock till June. Just a heads up for other people who ordered through Amazon UK.
I'm just hoping Dr. Mario is semi popular enough to not instantly fly off of shelves.
I wonder if Doc will count as Mario like how Toon Link counts as Link. For non-Smash games, of course.
Trying to get Palutena is going to be a pain in the ass...

If they were made in the same quantity at a higher price, there would be much less of a problem. Diminishing returns and all that.

Look what you did, Nintendo. You made me buy Wario, a character I don't like, in hope I can trade it for something else. I found a charizard (there's tons of both of them for some reason), and tomorrow I'll pick up Robin and Lucina for a guy selling them for what it would cost me to have them delivered, so in the end it works out. Just need Ness now ! And maybe Pac man.
Happy to hear that Charizard is apparently relatively common. That's a huge relief.

[t]http://myamiibonews.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/image.jpg[/t] [t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CDUa2sbWAAApdkn.jpg:large[/t] The silver Mario has showed up in the stock checks of supermarket Fred Meyers and Target. According to this, a guy found one on a Chinese auction site, bought it and registered a silver token on Mario Party.
Wow, why don't you like Wah? He's one of the best Mario related Characters.
I don't like mario related characters [sp]but I prefer Luigi anyway[/sp]
Happy to hear that Charizard is apparently relatively common. That's a huge relief.
Its not anything from the FE series, but I'll take fire lizard.
I have all of Wave 4 pre-ordered so you guys can suck it. [sp]And by that I mean I pre-ordered it for a friend that wasn't awake at 4 AM when they went up. So I'll be hunting my own in the wild.[/sp]
[t]http://u.cubeupload.com/psychojake/IMG6072.jpg[/t] Saw this at my local TRU. Is Mario okay? [editline]27th April 2015[/editline] Also. The store had about 20-30 people camp out for this morning's Greninja pre-order. Apparently some had been there since yesterday evening.
