i went to jb hifi on a whim today and they had 2 jigglypuffs, a greninja and a wario
also a SHITTON of splatoons, like a bunch of boy/girl alone and triple packs, even at the eb games
Are the super mario amiibos made of a different material than the smash ones? They feel a lot more solid and less bendy.
Seems like in Wave 4 we'll see as follows.
Pac-Man, Wario, Silver Mario, Splatoon Girl and Boy: Common
Charizard, Splatoon 3 pack: Uncommon
Greninja: Rare
Lucina, Robin: Very Rare
Jigglypuff, Ness: Unicorn
The only reason that I am saying that Puff Daddy and Ness are unicorn is because of the fact that they are exclusives, and Greninja seems to have a pretty generous stock at TRU, unlike how Puff at Target and Ness at Gamestop.
I still don't get how Gamestop seems to only have like 10 Ness's in all of America.
Gamestop has been really aggressively opening up new locations; in some places for every one Target or Best Buy there are like three or even four Gamestops.
They likely got the same number of Ness as the other exclusives, but had to spread them WAY thinner.

As someone who does almost nothing but watch my amiibos infight yeah it's true.
At level 0 they take more damage and the weight is jigglypuff tier. As they level up they get stronger and knockback becomes more normal till soon enough they're harder to launch far and do 5-6% more damage with most attacks.
So should I have got charizard? The only reason I put him back is because I saw a grenninja. I'm worried that I just missed out big time.

Just depends on if you think you wanted him over Greninja, you'll find him here and there, it's not like he's extinct already like Lucina, Robin, or Puff Daddy.

if that amiibo is japan exclusive (which it might be unless nintendo bring over the new chibi robo) you're looking at what could soon be the rarest amiibo
from what i saw, it seemed like the newest Chibi Robo was more of an exploration-based Triple Deluxe, that grappling hook plugshot though...pretty weird, was the 3D movement footage just from the DS game? assuming Monster Hunter Airou DX is a 3DS improvement to the PSP one.

Wandered into the Gamestop in the mall nearby and they had about 5 of each of the Inklings. They instantly sold out everywhere else in the area just minutes after store openings, from what I had heard.
So I bought them up, to go along with my copy of Splatoon.

Unfortunately it seems you can't buy it separately, it always comes with the game.
That probably means it won't be the rarest amiibo, likely to be the opposite
I picked up Charizard and Pacman at Walmart yesterday. I was surprised to see them. They were the only two wave 4 left

I bought a 32gb card so I could download games, but I have to buy the physical version so I can get the amiibos I want, it's a shame... Same happened with splatoon and the squid amiibo in France.
I guess i'm too much used to steam and not having to switch the game CD anymore :v:
