You're looking at, at most, 7-8k for the whole country Not what I would call big. Also, Mother fans are so rabid for any kind of merch, you could probably get it extremely easily.

Yeah the Gamestop near me literally had 1 King Dedede and 4 Ness's. I took one of both. No doubt those Ness's sold out later that day or the next day.

I "can't wait" to hear the exclusives for the next wave of Amiibos. I will be completely pissed off if the Duck Hunt Amiibo is exclusive to a store. Slightly less so if it is an Amazon exclusive.

I have a maximum of $100 set aside in case Duck Hunt is stupid rare or exclusive, just so I won't have to go through the enormous hassle of endlessly refreshing ebay or negotiating with people who barely speak my language. I'd rather pay more money than more time and frustration.

Well that's disappointing. I only just found out they exist because I saw an ad for them in a marketing kit.

I can imagine in a few decades or so people will try to play Animal Crossing: Amiibo Party and realize they need this outdated technology to play it. :vs:

By that point there will be a way to emulate the gamepad and any amiibo you want with a tablet, so :v:

At least unlike most peripheral gimmicks Amiibos will at least look nice on a shelf after their lifespan is over.

Is Lucina rare? I've found like fifteen yesterday at a shopping. From which I bought the Captain Falcon because it's my favourite character Also, is Zero Suit Samus rare? I have no intention to collect them all. Just the ones I play the most on Smash I've also found a Mario on the floor so I have 2 atm some months ago

Other regions seem to have stock matters under control.

I can't even find any of the Splatoon amiibos. I was 'lucky' to find the boy one, but I'll be damned if I ever see a girl or even the exclusive squid one.
