Naw tho
I just think the character designs look ugly from the screenshots I saw outside chibi robo himself. Dunno why that's such a controversial opinion v:v:v
"Nightmare mutant" is a step further than that. Especially considering you seem to be like, the only person who remotely feels that way.

that picture is artifacted to hell and back its like comparing a jpeg'd out screen of Crysis on PC and using a normal picture of Xbox crysis to prove xbox looks better than PC
Basically: I looked up Photo Finder and found most of the designs in that game terrible and the old dude annoying and dumb. Asked if the other games had ugly designs and that's what I was given- and judging by the text at the bottom and the icon it's not actually that artifacted
I'm too afraid I'd damage it if I tried something like that. I am aiming for those 3 though, just because I want to finish the smash collection and all. Also I find it weird that Falco is just in a void by himself. Punished Bird.
i hope they do customized mii fighter amiibos like they were talking about a while back i'd love to have a shelf with 30 amiibos on it that are all things like "satan" and "DIO"
What should I name Bowser Jr He's the only one so far I'm stumped on [editline]t[/editline] I'm tempted to make it Larry and call it Lemmy or Iggy
Bowsy
What should I name Bowser Jr He's the only one so far I'm stumped on [editline]t[/editline] I'm tempted to make it Larry and call it Lemmy or Iggy
make it blue bowser and name it rookie
make it blue bowser and name it rookie
Nice reference, but I said Bowser Jr :v:
Nice reference, but I said Bowser Jr :v:
oops sorry i'm good at reading
When Roy's Amiibo comes out I can't say I won't try and replace the chip inside with a Bowser Jr chip.
They really should have included stickers and different hair styles for the mii fighters. They would sell a lot more.
I really doubt Nintendo's going to be worrying about how well an amiibo will sell.
Custom Mii Amiibo would be neat. You send in your Mii and some other details (ie any accessories, if you want them to be classified as a Fighter/Brawler/Gunner in Smash and other games with special Mii functionality) and pay the cashmonies and get a custom Amiibo sent to your door stop.

Send them as anonymous gifts to friends and family.
What should I name Bowser Jr He's the only one so far I'm stumped on [editline]t[/editline] I'm tempted to make it Larry and call it Lemmy or Iggy
One of the SMB3/SMW cartoon names with their respective koopaling like Roy = Bully, Ludwig = Kooky, Morton = Big Mouth, Wendy = Kootie Pie, Lemmy and Iggy = Hip and Hop (can't remember which is which lol) and Larry = Cheatsy
whatever happened, my lil bowz had better arrive when amazon sends my replacement or i'm gonna be many hells of angry
the replacement came today, and it's an actual amiibo this time, and not shoe maintenance product!
Congrats! I say it a lot but seriously :v: [editline]13th August 2015[/editline] As a aside Walmart put up blank pages for a ton of amiibos like the Classic Mario Maker one Interesting note: Doc and Bowser Jr aren't listed so they'll most likely be (surprise) store exclusives in the west.
That classic Mario looks real nice.
Updated the OP a bit
Interesting note: Doc and Bowser Jr aren't listed so they'll most likely be (surprise) store exclusives in the west.
Well I'm sure glad I got mine from japan before this came up.
Exclusive doesn't mean it'll be hard to get. Dark Pit is common is heck.
Exclusive doesn't mean it'll be hard to get. Dark Pit is common is heck.
Because he's a character nobody wants and Best Buy ludicrously overstocked? Even then I have never seen one in person, with three Best Buy locations within half an hour of me. Bowser Jr on the other hand... People want it for the koopalings. It will probably be popular for modification as well thanks to that, meaning certain people will buy more than one, perhaps up to eight if they're dedicated. I don't think it and Dark Pit are really comparable.
It's not Best Buy's fault that Nintendo actually did a good job with stocking their stores. They don't just go "Hey let me pull these figures out of the ether and stock them." They kept Dark Pits in the customer service area behind the counter for quite a while after he came out because they were afraid people would try to steal them. I'm sure if you went to go check those stores you'd find at least some. Of course, being common doesn't mean every store is going to have dozens of them. Donkey Kong is common but I've only ever found him at my Toys R Us and no where else. Dark Pit's the first exclusive to be exceptionally common I think?

Now where the fuck are my meta knights and dededes
After looking at the amiibo that aren't out yet, I noticed the only one I would possibly want from the smash series is Lucas :v: Well, until (more like "unless," really) they do a pokemon series with all 719. Then oh my god nintendo will control my bank account
I could see them having an Amiibo Pokemon game. obviously the whole Rumble franchise started off interesting then nosedived then came back up with World, but only because the gameplay was kind of justified for a microtransaction cashgrab that looks fair. heck, even the 1.1+ update adds a free balloon that takes 20 hours to recharge but randomizes area for pokemon that you havn't caught yet. They'll probably forcibly attach the Amiibo to the Pokepark series, or pull a Puzzle League and have a Pokemonfied Nintendoland, implement online sky races & dog fights, have retro and improved Pokemon stadium minigames and a few oddball references here and there. Miror B-themed Octopus Dance? yes please. always thought the holotraining minigame in XY was kind of exciting but it wore a bit thin. Maybe some amiibo just unlocks Pokemon relatively fast, or all the Pokemon awards currency when scanned once per day, which you can use to train up other Pokemon. so any flying type can do sky races but the end stats would be the same. they could even use the Global-Link if they wanted to for the sake of Pokemiles+sending items to ORAS/XY. [sp]alternatively, it could just be for Pokken. would it be much of a demand that an amiibo would be a way for people to hold competitive movesets for fighters, with a few sets of assists. then they privately pick the settings in advance, stadium style. also removes the need for them to unlock everything at competitive tourneys[/sp]
