Got my hands on the Last Pacman at a best buy while I was visiting a friend who worked at best buy

[QUOTE=ysd64;48564519]and just as I thought the amiibo hype has died down[/QUOTE] Hasn't really died down, just that the amount of games using amiibo is so far and few. there isn't much hype for the Metroid and animal crossing spinoffs or Triforce Heroes. at the very least there's at least Star Fox Zero but it's a given since Falco is kind of lonely, otherwise Falco himself would have less usage than even the Pokemon Amiibo. (barring SMM updates) They've kind of cashed in their chips going through the main cast pretty fast, i wouldn't see some series like the SMB variants getting much popularity except for maybe for the Toad and Wario/Rosalina amiibo (when they come out), what's next? a pokken series? a Zelda series of amiibo? they can't stretch 2-4+ DLC characters+Shovel Knight from Falco's release until the first half of next year. I would assume now Nintendo is just restocking in preparation for christmas, think they've already done restocks of Marth, Villager and WFT in the US. wouldn't mind more Mario Kart DLC to tide things over between the possibly-thin Smash DLC and Splatoon's updates.

Dedede has been added to the collection with Robin coming tomorrow!

Btw for those of you that are thinking the Shovel Knight amiibo will be hard to get: [url]https://youtu.be/N6hteiJaQ14?t=302[/url] This either means they'll be very rare or pretty common, hopefully pretty common.

So the Shovel Knight amiibo is being made in one of the same factories as the Disney Infinity figures.

Might explain why they look a little cheaper then the Smash ones.

I was able to buy 2 Splatoon 3 packs for my friends, but instead thought that they'd be fine with one squid girl and 1 3 pack. How wrong I was, considering they're going for 70+ now.

Went into Toys'R'Us out of curiosity, they had 4 Ness amibbos and no others. Really strange. As well as they were the cheapest I've seen an amiibo, £11.87.

I never would've thought a year ago that I would be actually running out of space on my dresser because of fucking amiibos.

Sometimes I feel I'm the only one who's both serious enough about getting these things to overspend, and casual enough to only seek the ones I actually want. I don't have the space nor the desire to get complete sets, and the idea of going well out of your way to obtain characters you personally dislike is baffling to me.

The only one I am actively still hoping to get is Villager. The others I only pick up if I really like them.
