No. You don't understand what will happen. Both sides will have to use funds for the war and that means another alliance will be on top. You and I don't want this. Instead of using these funds for GDP, we'll be funding war. We can have war when we all hit the plateau of growth.

Nevermind, I bit the bullet, destroyed my growth and got a major victory on my first offensive, killing half of his men.
Accepted the invite to FP only for it to put me in some random alliance. A+

you can increase your growth by using tax incentives (not avaliable to eastern alligned countries)
or streamlining production quotas (not availiable to free market economies)
