the scent of money makes any franchise magically continue
Except for Half-Life
I just want to know what day Serious Sam 4 gets demoed.
Most likely during the PC show which already has Devolver in it. June 13, 12PM PST / 3PM EST
Most likely during the PC show which already has Devolver in it. June 13, 12PM PST / 3PM EST
Welp, I guess I'll see the footage when I get home from work that night.
it has also promised to "unveil some surprises."
Please Rayman 4. Please Rayman 4. Please Rayman 4. (Yes, I still have delusions about believing 3D Platforming games aren't dead)
I was super expecting EA to go all out for Mirrors Edge this E3... Until I found out that the game comes out on Tuesday. Like other than some people getting to play it early, zero push has appeared
I was super expecting EA to go all out for Mirrors Edge this E3... Until I found out that the game comes out on Tuesday. Like other than some people getting to play it early, zero push has appeared
I've been seeing ads and commercials almost every other day.
Man I love E3. Every year in the run up to it you hear the news outlets complaining about how E3 sucks and it's just a big marketing event, but that's why I love it. It's a big, dumb, and you get to tear into the obvious lies and make fun of when things go wrong. It's like the Superbowl for American Football fans. More of what you get all the time, but pretending to be important so people can sell you stuff. Everyone knows it but why not take the opportunity to enjoy the fake world they construct for a few days? Also it's great when things go wrong and you get to laugh at it.
And sometimes hearing about awesome new games we might wanna buy :v:. So far my eyes are dead-set on Dishonored 2 info and Battlefield 1 Gameplay and info.
Hey, last E3 hit us with Final Fantasy VII Remake and Shenmue III, so I won't complain if there's more internet-shaking surprises in future E3s.
I hope we get to see some of that new metal gear game at e3 :vs:
Most of that conference is predictable: Dishonored 2 gameplay, Fallout 4 + DOOM DLC, TES: Legends, BattleCry, and a surprise iOS game "Doom Shelter". They'll need something bigger to live up to last year's reveals, so maybe there'll be something new or pigs fly and Prey 2 gets revealed.
Might be silly to think, but I'm holding out for a possible tease of a new Elder Scrolls.
Might be silly to think, but I'm holding out for a possible tease of a new Elder Scrolls.
It has been nearly 5 years since Skyrim. Todd Howard needs to fulfill his yearly quota of sweet little lies.
It has been nearly 5 years since Skyrim. Todd Howard needs to fulfill his yearly quota of sweet little lies.
Bethesda never ever teases a game until at most a year before it's release. Judging by their 3-5 year cycle between BGS games, they aren't gonna give anything new until maybe 2017
little lies.
We're all ready to be lied to again, but i'd bet heavily on that not happening. I'm waiting on some new RE game information, which I would also bet heavily on not happening.
So I'm excited to hear about. -Dishonored 2 -Battlefield 1 -Fallout 4 DLC (Loved Far Harbor alot!) -Interesting new IPs -Wolfenstein Sequel/Tease for new Elder Scrolls (plz Beth :c). What I'm worried about -Console Upgrade rumor, moreso for my sister than me, I stick with PC but my sis and her BF have Xbone, so I'm concerned about the money they would have to pay for it. -Battlefield 1, I am in love with the WWI setting, BUT it's still EA, and I can't easily hop on the hype train like I can for Dishonored 2. -Valve showing up. Valve is no longer the person I used to know. They're leaning more towards making loads of money rather than maintaining quality and customer satisfaction. I am interested in L4D3, but I'm fearful they'll try to shoehorn in some bullshit CS:GO crate system like they did with TF2. I'm fearful of HL3 showing up, because it could either be the biggest thing to hit the internet, or we'll see a meh looking shooter with tacked on multiplayer or store service and co-op (Portal 2), and it'll cause the whole internet to explode in a nuclear fireball of pure white hot nerd rage.
I hope there's gonna be no console upgrades. I'm thinking about buying an Xbone for Rare Replay and BC, but I don't want to see my money go to waste.
-Dishonored 2, I did hear that the artstyle is no longer headed by Victor Antonov, but I do hope his spirit still sticks with the sequel. Aside from that I trust Arkane as a developer to make a quality
Holy shit what? I hope we still see some sort of combine aesthetic that made DH1 unique. [editline]4th June 2016[/editline]
I hope there's gonna be no console upgrades. It's pretty much written in the stars with how many leaks media has gotten.
Holy shit what? I hope we still see some sort of combine aesthetic that made DH1 unique.
SHIT! I'm wrong. http://dishonored.wikia.com/wiki/Viktor_Antonov
" He is currently the visual design director of Zenimax Media and consults again with Arkane Studios for the development of Dishonored 2."
My bad!
[t]http://puu.sh/pfRnL.png[/t] One space, three suicides left. I most likely won't do an "official" card this year, because this one seems harder to balance than last year's. Prize pool is currently first place winner gets a $15 game on Steam. If you'd like to donate prizes (Killing Floor 2 was donated last year (by onebit I think)) PM me or something. But note that if you donate prizes, you can't win (you can still participate of course).
First-timer who's genuine and super enthusiastic to present their craft on stage.
Are you talking about the Unravel guy?
and PEGGLE 2!!!! These two are the only ones I can remember

Judging by their 3-5 year cycle between BGS games, they aren't gonna give anything new until maybe 2017
Some data of this cycle BGS has: Oblivion Reveal: May 18, 2005 Release: March 20, 2006 Time Between Reveal and Release: ~10 months Fallout 3 Reveal: May 2, 2007 Release: October 28, 2008 Time Between Reveal and Release: 1 year 5 months Time Between BGS game: 2 years, 7 months Skyrim Reveal: December 11, 2010 Release: November 11, 2011 Time Between Reveal and Release: 11 months, 2 days Time Between BGS game: 3 years, 15 days Fallout 4 Reveal: June 3, 2015 Release: November 10, 2015 Time Between Reveal and Release: 5 months, 8 days <----- Biggest outlier. If this is how they will do it from now, don't expect BGS to reveal their next game until half a year before it comes out! Time Between BGS game: 4 years Average time between game releases: 3.19 years (with a trend that's increasing from what it looks like.) Average time of game reveals to game release: 10.75 months Now, if we take that with the information that there will be newer versions of the current consoles, maybe the next game will take longer to make (or they hire more people hopefully) so that the game would take full advantage of the newer hardware. one can dream of those sweet little lies. One can dream. [editline]4th June 2016[/editline]
SHIT! I'm wrong. http://dishonored.wikia.com/wiki/Viktor_Antonov My bad!
Oh thank fuck. I don't think anyone posted these, but official Dishonored 2 Screenshots. http://www.dsogaming.com/screenshot-news/new-dishonored-2-screenshots-released/

Well I guess I should say, OLD UNMASKED CORVO! Has killer facial hair.
I very recently reinstalled Dishonored, and I can't believe how stiff and blurry everything is.
I very recently reinstalled Dishonored, and I can't believe how stiff and blurry everything is.
Shall we gather for whiskey and cigars tonight? Indeed, I believe so.

http://www.dsogaming.com/screenshot-news/new-dishonored-2-screenshots-released/
i don't like this weird sharpening/outlining effect they've got going on, it looks like they're trying to make it look cel-shaded but in a really lazy way
I really hope dishonored 2 lets us actually kill dudes without giving us a bad ending this time, it kinda irked me how they offered all of these crazy ass ways to off guards and assassination targets alongside a pretty fun combat system, but it always felt like the game was punishing you constantly for doing it.
