We've arrived at EA Sports station
now all we need is valve at e3, which will never happen :dead:
I'm actually looking forward to ubisoft. I can't believe it's been a year since "for honor" was announced.
Also I'd like to see more of the Holo lens
I very recently reinstalled Dishonored, and I can't believe how stiff and blurry everything is.
I just started playing it after upgrading my computer from a 2008 potato to a decent gaming rig, and I think it feels pretty good! Texture quality is meh, but it's an overall pretty game when I'm not clumsy and fall onto people I'm trying to sneak above. Excited for Dishonored 2!
The fucking EA sports section is always embarrassing. The games could be the most interesting thing in the world yet you always have the same trailer for different sports 3 times with the same speech every single time with the same buzzwords at the conference for every game. Then they bring out an athlete who doesn't care.
We've had a decade of the same forty minutes at E3. The only difference is that UFC has now joined the pantheon. I can't remember if it was last year or the year before where, no word of a lie, two games back to back had WORD FOR WORD THE SAME SPEECH OVER THE TRAILER
The only good thing to come out of EA's conference last time was Pelé.
He looked so confused, you could only respect the man and his words.
I just want to see MEA and Respawns and Viscerals SW games.
I wonder if its on UE4 or iDtech.
I believe in a game informer article they said it was an id tech derivative called the Void Engine, specifically for DH2
I just want to see ME3 and Respawns and Viscerals SW games.
What the hell is ME3?
Mirror's Edge 3 I guess
Mirror's Edge 3 I guess
But 2 is only just about to come out?
What the hell is ME3?
Sorry I meant Mass Effect Andromeda/MEA
But 2 is only just about to come out?
It's never too early.
Though realtalk have we ever seen sequels announced at an E3 immediately after the first came out?
I believe in a game informer article they said it was an id tech derivative called the Void Engine, specifically for DH2
If anyone wanted a source on this, here's an online link that mentions it (http://www.gamepur.com/news/22947-new-dishonored-2-info-gi-emilys-power-plot-setup-weapons-ending-and.html), and you can check page 49 of Game Informer issue 278.
That being said, Arkane has also increased its capacity for generating better graphics. Unsatisfied with the dated rendering tech used to make Dishonored, the studio invested in a new technology based dubbed Void Engine. Using id Tech as a foundation, the engineers designed a new platform that can handle the unique visual style of Dishonored, which rests somewhere between realistic lighting and an impressionistic world, while at the same time servicing the unique needs of a game that lives and dies on player agency and emergent experiences.
The Wikipedia article says it's based on id Tech 5. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dishonored_2)
I hope Void improves significantly on id Tech 5. Having played nu-DOOM, id Tech 6 is such a much better engine.
According to Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_Entertainment_Expo_2016#Square_Enix
Vampyr is going to be shown too. Looking forward to that.
I just want to see MEA and Respawns and Viscerals SW games.
Respawn's game was just announced, I don't think we'll see anything for another year. Visceral's game however, I'll be surprised if we don't see anything.

One space, three suicides left. I most likely won't do an "official" card this year, because this one seems harder to balance than last year's.
Prize pool is currently first place winner gets a $15 game on Steam. If you'd like to donate prizes (Killing Floor 2 was donated last year (by onebit I think)) PM me or something. But note that if you donate prizes, you can't win (you can still participate of course).
I feel like there shouldn't be both Quake and Reboot of a Classic.
Having Quake would mark both and I feel like that should be replaced.

how about a big company announces a kickstarter for a project they could fund themselves
How about one of those Ubisoft's voice acted MP gameplay trailers?
[editline]6th June 2016[/editline]
Or zoom out and reveal MP.
I almost forgot that Crackdown 3 is supposed to be a thing. I hope they show something that isn't just a tech demo.
I'm hoping for something good for Sonic's anniversary this year.

Not at E3, but there will be some sort of event sometime later in June.

After the depressing total lack of giving a shit that was Sonic Boom, I too cannot wait to see the next giant blunder the blue hedgehog get's involved in next.

Not to get off topic, but Sonic Boom was more of the fault of Sega of America- they cared more about the show than the game so they gave it to some small company (who had to put Unreal 4 onto the goddamned Wii U). Sega of Japan (and Sonic Team proper) have been focusing on Sonic's 25th anniversary game, which SHOULD turn out better. I have hope, at the very least
On topic, I can't believe we're less than a week away from E3- gonna be great!

Honestly after the many fails of Sonic, I don't really care who's to blame. As long as it results in everyone pointing and laughing at bad sonic games.
I wonder if it'll be the one that turns the Trilogy of epic Sonic Sucking (Shadow, Sonic '06, Boom) into a Tetralogy. Yes I looked up a word meaning four of something :v:.

Even worse, Sonic Boom runs on CryEngine 3. On a Wii U.
I really hope we see something about Cyberpunk 2077. That's all I'm excited for at this point.
