no Crackdown :frown:
I really cannot see how they could possibly do 4K 60fps with this thing without it being almost the price of a brand new super top of the line PC.
They have until like Fall next year to get the parts ready, who knows what GPU developments are gonna happen between now and then to make it affordable.
The fuck's a terraflop?
it's when a product flops extraordinarily hard
My favorite was the lady who looked like the stereotypical soccer mom talking about, "getting the most res"
Can I use a M&K with it tho?
and 6 TFLOPS is no joke, that's more than a 980Ti
Microsoft had a pretty good conference imo. They didn't focus solely on their consoles/social features, they included a lot of good game reveals.
Hoping Sony and Nintendo also have good presentations.
Xboxsss
so
anyone wants to buy a xbox one
Total killer conference for MS. The only things I didn't really like were Scalebound and the lack of Xbox BC stuff on PC (but of course that was a crazy dream anyway)
Besides that it was incredible, the pressure's on for the others.
The XboneS is prepping for people who can't afford Scorpio next year. Scorpio will probably be like $499 compared to the XBONES $299
More than that, and if it is then its a good bargain. But their isn't a single GPU out their that can game at 4k 60fps on PC, not even the new ones.
so wait to understand this, the xbox one s is going to be able to play games that project scorpio can, but not as well as scorpio can? basically being the cheaper alternative? didnt really listen to that bit well due to watching tbs stream
Thought i'd never say this but this one was good in comparison of what we've got so far this year
Basically the xbox one was just a waste of money for both the people who bought it and microsoft as it's shit
So what fucking magic are they going to pull to get 4k 60fps?

It's like the iphone cycle. A new more powerful one comes out, but the old one can still play all the apps, but not quite as well. Then they eventually stop supporting the original one then release a new new one.

Yeah it's also a bit of a vague statement.
How are they going to do this without having the thing cost $699?

Yes. The same way Playstation Neo is gonna run the same games as PS4, but Neo with better quality.

As I see it Scorpio can handle games in 4k while one/one s only at 1080p tops
so wait to understand this, the xbox one s is going to be able to play games that project scorpio can, but not as well as scorpio can? basically being the cheaper alternative? didnt really listen to that bit well due to watching tbs stream
This is what Sony are doing so probably yes

Xbone S is just a regular Xbone that's smaller.
Scorpio is Xbone 1.5 and will run games slightly better, or so that's their claim.
Yeah it's also a bit of a vague statement.

they aren't, that's why there's an alternative that wont run 4k
I kinda want Sony to just come out and go "BLOODBORNE 2" and make everyone lose their shit.
With the whole cloud shit Crackdown 3 was using last year I can see them saving it for Scorpios launch to take advantage of its power.
So what fucking magic are they going to pull to get 4k 60fps?
1440p upscaled to 4k :v:
So what fucking magic are they going to pull to get 4k 60fps?
HDMI 2.0
Graphics optimized for said framerate and resolution
Pretty simple, really.
XBone S is 300$ in the US, now watch it being sold for 400 euro in Europe
I kinda want Sony to just come out and go "BLOODBORNE 2" and make everyone lose their shit.
Timesplitters PS4 Exclusive.
That fucking wobble wobble music at the PCG stream
I kinda want Sony to just come out and go "BLOODBORNE 2" and make everyone lose their shit.
Bloodborne 2 would be cool as hell, but they're actually going to have to come up with something pretty spectacular to top Microsoft's conference.
I mean last year they had FF7 remake, Last Guardian, and Shenmue III. Better hope they have something incredible in store. Like...Half-Life 3 caliber.

...High end graphics cards have trouble pulling off stable 60fps at 4k, this thing is going to cost a ludicrous amount
