DR3 wasn't a bad game by any means. it was just had really awful optimization and was too brown. it had a lot of necessary gameplay improvements like picking up items while walking (because as much as i love the old games, that got annoying during boss fights)

admittedly the boss battles weren't nearly as memorable as they were in previous games. the only two boss fights i can really remember in DR3 was the crazy japanese man and the obese woman in the cafeteria

In development but only conceptually. They haven't really got to the meat of it until recently since they took team black off of it to help with TW3 DLC last year. Realistically as of now they're full steam ahead so it depends on what they want to show/if they have anything measurable to show.

Mechanically it was sound but the tone was all over the place.

Please don't enforce the whole "Tomb Raider" thing where they reboot a franchise and give it a plain name. Dead Rising 4 is a fine name for it. Just because it has a 4 at the end does not mean it has to take place after the previous games.

I really actually hope that this new one is a flat reboot. They took the story in some dumb fucking places with each time-skip, and despite being overall pretty good, DR3's big reveal [sp]That Chuck is now a mobster and has ruined everyone who survived from DR2's lives[/sp] was so out of character and stupid.

I really hope so. The last Berserk game we got was back in 2004 on the PS2, and that game was only available to Japan and Korea. Omega Force has kept true to the source materials to a lot of their Musou spinoffs (One Piece, Fist of the North Star, Zelda, etc) so I think they could definitely pull off a Berserk Musou. Berserk is going to have an anime which airs July 1st. Looks like we're getting a Berserk musou game. Exciting!

Or perhaps there will be an anime tie-in to the game. The font looks really "Berserky". So I don't think so, but it wouldn't be the first time I've been disappointed by looking in F12 and coming to conclusions.
