I really hope so. The last Berserk game we got was back in 2004 on the PS2, and that game was only available to Japan and Korea. Omega Force has kept true to the source materials to a lot of their Musou spinoffs (One Piece, Fist of the North Star, Zelda, etc) so I think they could definitely pull off a Berserk Musou. It would work especially well now, considering the upcoming anime this July, as well as the manga coming out of hiatus this summer.
Still much rather Platinum get their hands on it. Guts needs a true character action game to himself.

Looks like you got the knack of this.
"In-game footage".
Well it is in-game.
Just not representative of game-play.
Still, I wish game companies would get sued more often from using misleading terms like that.

Problem with engines like Cryengine and Frostbite is that they can look EXTREMELY good meaning "in engine" trailers can look amazing with the final product looking like arse.
Great thing about this and Frostbite is that because of Battlefront we know it will basically look almost the same in actual gameplay footage.
I'm just waiting to see what gameplay looks like and if overall the game will end up being good.
I'm at distance though because this is still an EA game.
ill do what I did with battlefield 4 and get it a year later.

Just a real quick word about Battlefield 1:
It's the first battlefield game where it's only on the current gen consoles. No getting held back by 360/PS3. So I wonder how big the maps will be.

Map size is really a design thing, not a limitation thing.
You'll find plenty games on PS3/X360 with enormous maps.
Battlefield 1 is basically guaranteed to look fuckin' beautiful. I just really hope the gameplay holds up as well. The WW1 premise is definitely going to shake up the "modern FPS" scene finally, and maybe they'll even show some actual depth in the game. Fingers crossed for this release.

You will always be held back as long as consoles exist. Games are made for console first, then PC second.
However, generally Battlefield is one of the few games were it's not being held back that much. At least not graphically, level size and other such things? Probably, yeah.

Wonder how god it will look when they downgrade this on release.
Wonder how god it will look when they downgrade this on release.
Battlefront looks great, there's no reason to not expect BF1 to look great as well. The new frostbite is a sexy engine.
Wonder how god it will look when they downgrade this on release.
At least the PC version will look amazing. All I'm hoping for is they forgot all the gameplay design from battlefront
Wonder how god it will look when they downgrade this on release.
Funnily enough if Battlefield 1 continues to use photogrammetry. I imagine the game will be a looker just like how Battlefront is.

Can you imagine if Frostbite or Snowdrop were put out as SDK's like UE4? hhhhnnnngggggg

I'm more talking about more than 32v32 in one server.

Wouldn't you want bigger maps for that?
Idk, it's certainly possible, it just has to be set as a target by the developers.
They probably figured that bigger battles wasn't suited for the direction they were going in.
MAG for PS3, while unsuccessful, had 128v128 matches.

Given the amount of stuff slapped on top of it the licensing would be a nightmare. If I recall correctly they have so many external pieces of software crammed into it it's hard to develop on.

That's what I meant by my original post, when I said I wanted bigger maps, I meant bigger maps with more people in it.
Also bigger maps with higher detail density is something that the previous generation probably would have held back current gen from having.
Right now my thoughts being translated into posts doesn't seem to be doing to well...
Also if I remember correctly, MAG was divided into sectors with specific amounts of people in each.

That was the excuse for BF3. Not sure if it holds true now, but I bet it still does.

BF4 and hardline on PS4 and Xbox one were both 32v32.
I don't feel as if the map design of any of the recent battlefields was compromised for last-gen support.

Oh, well, 64 players is confirmed, so don't get your hopes up.
I completely forgot about it until now, but I hope Sea of Thieves makes a good show.
I've been dying for a good pirate game.
