Skyrim Remaster to be revealed at E3.
http://gematsu.com/2016/06/rumor-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-remaster-announced-e3-2016
imo skyrim doesn't really need a remaster. the game was only release 5 years ago and its graphics aren't bad enough to warrant a remaster. and if they would go to lengths as far as remastering the whole game i'd rather spend that effort on a new elder scrolls game.

Consoles.
Reading through the Neogaf thread of Dead Rising 4 leak, I found some information.
-Dead Rising 4 is a Remake/Reimagining of Dead Rising 1, it has extra content such as the town.
-Set during Christmas.
-4 player co-op.
-Xbone and W10 exclusive.
Now we all knew that but here is some extra information.
The game is apparently full of extra content, that it's worth being called Dead Rising 4. Some people can even see it as Dead Rising: 4 (Four Player Co-op)
Technically it isn't set on Christmas, it's set during the Holiday Rush, the town is snowy and the mall is Christmas-themed.
I am gonna try and contact the guy to get some questions answered.
My main two are...
Does this make DR1 non-canon.
And,
How accurate is the Dead Rising 1 part of the game? Considering it's all Christmas it seems to be changed a lot.
I will post an update here.
A Skyrim remaster is pointless if they don't touch the gameplay (Which they won't). Every fucking dungeon is the same and every "City" is tiny.
i love games that are centered around a holiday, like costume quest
not sure why, i just think it's neat

if the fucking prototype games can get a remaster, then so can skyrim
Oh christ they did 'remaster' the Prototype games didn't they.
Skyrim might get a remaster if my prediction of the next elderscrolls coming out in 2018 or 2019 is right.
Bethesda wouldn't want people to "forget" about tes. It has been 5 years, and i presume fans of only tes might be hungry.
Although i disagree with the notion that gamers forget games, especially when marketing is the real thing that helps sell games.

yeah it's definitely tied with that deadpool game as "#1 remaster that nobody asked for"
I'd rather them remaster oblivion tbh.
I really enjoyed the Prototype series. Would love if a prototype 3 appeared at E3.

Barely even a remaster. Just the same games at a higher resolution, no launch announcement, no big deal or anything. And no uptouching, improvements or tweaks. Hell, apparently the XBO version runs worse than the Xbox 360 version.

Hell Morrowind could use a remaster.
daggerfall coming soon to ps4
hopefully playstation users will actually get to see the ending of skyrim this time

i just want to know if the gameplay is as arcadey as the first. like, can u swing a chainsaw while running?

I really fucking hate the games industry sometimes.

Gamers don't forget games. Regular people forget games. Hence the Remaster probably to remind them that The Elder Scrolls exists and Skyrim isn't just some stand alone.
I don't think this has been posted yet. A "trusted insider" on Neogaf is reporting Sunset Overdrive is coming to Windows 10, sounds like an E3 reveal isn't confirmed but it's still possible.

I actually enjoy the fight night games. Hoping EA announce one. Last one was fight night champion which is great to this day, but one on the xbone/ps4 would be cool.

Is the reveal trailer, so it's a coloring book now.
Jokes aside, it's going to be on Wii U, and I'm hoping it'll be as good as TTYD.
I'm unfamiliar with the series, why is this trailer unpopular?
I'm unfamiliar with the series, why is this trailer unpopular?
Paper Mario for the N64 established a series with heavy turn-based RPG elements and a unique art style with wonderful character work.
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the GCN built upon it with expanded gameplay elements, story, and graphics, and is one of my favorite games of all time.
Super Paper Mario for Wii distanced itself from the RPG elements, maintaining health and experience but resorting to a real-time sidescrolling action combination with said elements to controversial effect. It's not a bad game, just a different one, and after the masterpiece that is TTYD people were let down.
Paper Mario: Sticker Star eliminated the sidescrolling element of the previous game, but also eliminated many solid aspects of all previous games. Experience and leveling up were removed, along with many unique characters (including partners) and humor, instead resorting to being able to fight only using items, or "stickers."
While it got semipositive reviews from critics, Sticker Star is quite disliked by fans of the series for its distance from the original RPG elements that made the first two games great, if not some of the greatest.
The trailer for this game, Color Splash for Wii U, is particularly reviled because it has been almost a decade since the last home console Paper Mario game, and fans expected a return to the RPG style of the original two. Instead, it appears that this new game will adhere to Sticker Star's systems of battle, adventure, and characterization.
Which fucking sucks oh my god I'm so angry

It's pretty much shafting every good thing Paper Mario and Paper Mario TTYD did. Sticker Star was pretty lame, and rather than learning from their mistakes they just did it again with color splash
IGN leaked the date and San Francisco setting of Watch Dogs 2,

The sad thing is that everyone hates this so much, but Sticker Star was the best-selling game of the series, so this is likely a sequel borne of profit. Mostly because it was on the 3DS and got E3 hype and advertising on a more well-known system, compared to Super Paper Mario just being there on the Wii and the previous games being on systems that aren't as reputed.
But then it makes no sense to put the sequel on the Wii U, a console that's in its swan song, with pretty much no fanfare.

Morrowind's already getting one.

considering the state of the other win 10 exclusives, it's probably best to avoid dead rising 4 at launch

Looks like there's no graphical difference between PC and consoles in Mirror's Edge Catalyst. Gee, I wonder why.

There is a difference, apparently. To get smooth 60 FPS on consoles the textures are muddy as hell, so the PC version on max settings can avoid most of the problem.

You can't really tell from that compressed to shit image, nor from the video. Which I fucking hate when they try to do video gfx comparisons because the compression ruins the point of that shit.
