For what it's worth, apparently Crash 6/7 weren't actually [i]bad[/i] games... they just weren't [i]Crash[/i] games. I remember watching videos about their development back in the day and the team really did put a lot of effort into them. Plus from what I've seen, the writing can be pretty funny.

Seems like Rockstar, at some point, never went to E3 anymore, but their games still got shown off there. I can't recall if this still applies with GTA5 (the post I linked is 4 years old)

I dunno if you'd call that an "announcement"- sure, it's cool that it was getting rereleased, but it isn't as mindblowing as an actual new game. I dunno, I just feel they want their reveals to be more controlled by them rather than Sony or Microsoft.
