I've always seen the lack of Rockstar as them wanting to avoid losing coverage to other games. Why announce something at an event with other high-profile games on display when you can do your own reveal at a quieter time?

EA conference is the only one I'm going to miss. Titanfall 2 just might be the only reason I regret it.
