really hoping for ubisoft to announce watch dogs 2 and not fuck it up because i really, really loved watch dogs 1.
Well we know its coming some time in ubi's next financial year, but it does appear Tom Clancy's Wildlands might be their main attraction for this year.
I just hope they learn from their mistakes in the first game and make an amazing sequel.
I'm not too convinced with Wildlands. It will fall into the same pothole that open world games fall into, you're not exploring the world yourself, you're just following icons on the map that show everything. It might be a good co-op game though, im just real sick to death with Open World. Im still feeling the burn that Phantom Pain left me
Im expecting Ubi to make an open world Splinter Cell soon.
Speaking of Ubisoft anyway, South Park Fractured But Whole. I want more information, Stick of Truth was awesome.
I really hope they'll finally retire Fisher if they even make another SC game.
It was really painful hearing that other guy instead of Ironside in Blacklist.
But hey it's Ubisoft right?
If Watch Dogs 2 is announced, I want it to take place in Florida (Miami and more?) or some other vibrant place and be completely non-serious, over the top, and action packed.

I think Watch Dogs had is a title that is better kept on a serious theme, going non-serious and over the top just doesn't match the whole theme of the game.

So basically Saint's Row? Why would they go in that direction?
I want Sleeping Dogs 2

Why make it a Watch Dogs game then?
Honestly, while a new Halo FPS game isn't happening, I'd love for them to do another prequel, this time on Harvest. It'd have to be closer to ODST, since canonically the only character from the games that was there was Johnson.

While i don't like the idea, considering this was rumoured to be the main protagonist it might be less serious than the previous game:

that looks a lot better than aiden pearce's design, that faux-cyberpunk trenchcoat shit he had going on was awful
Hopefully, if they do make a sequel, you can change your clothes completely instead of just changing the colors of the default outfit.

Terrible fashion sense and no trigger discipline. Disgusting
Terrible fashion sense and no trigger discipline. Disgusting
You have to keep some things consistent between games.
Terrible fashion sense and no trigger discipline. Disgusting
it's a game, it doesn't consistently have to be realistic
I'm surprised we're 4 pages in and nobody's mentioned the possibility of a new Red Dead game yet. Surely it's in the barrel, Rockstar San Diego won't have been twiddling their thumbs since the additional work they did on GTA V.

TBH with the way rockstar has gone with GTAV, if a new RD is anything of the similar situation to GTAV I don't want anything to do with it.
I probably won't have a say in the matter anyway because they'd probably be stupid enough to make it a console exclusive again or some other shit.

Why make another Watch Dogs game period
So many other titles deserved a sequel over it, don't give us another game to explore the deep lore of magic hackers, not-lisbeth salander and batman uncle, it was hard enough to care in the first one already
Rockstar seems to have gone full retard at this point so it's really hard to care about anything they do.
Terrible fashion sense and no trigger discipline. Disgusting
I never understood why some people are super anal about trigger discipline, even in artwork.

Not really, I'd rather blame Take-Two for most of the shit that's been happening with GTA V. Though I admit there's been some shady stuff with Rockstar itself too recently, but not enough to warrant having gone full retard.
I still hope they'll make that game, "Agent". We need more Cold War games.

Apparently it's become a thing where if a character doesn't understand trigger discipline then obviously the creator/artist has no idea how guns work or how gun safety works and thus are a blithering moron.
Despite the fact that there's a lot of people out there who don't understand or know about trigger discipline, and even a highly-capable hacker performing less than legal things knowingly may not understand it or just flatout doesn't care. It's not like Aidan was exactly a highly-skilled professional marksman who goes to gun ranges and trains with firearms, really, given how awkward and stiff the gunplay was in the first game.

For me it's just something I like to look for. I'm really a /k/ snob outside of that and the 'clip' thing.
What's the equivalent of trigger discipline for swords? Because Geralt waving his sword above his head like a retard for one of his stances despite being a professional killer was the only instance of weapons being used incorrectly that actually upsets me (thankfully it never repeated in the other games).
I'm pretty sure it's mostly just a joke in the vein of "elbows too pointy"
gun nerds are gonna be gun nerds

I mean, a block of stale bread is a better than Aiden "I am boring and make everyone's life tangibly worse" Pearce

If they had any sense they'd take notes from Mr Robot on how to do the whole "serious hacker story" shtick.
Also focus on constantly using hacking to deal with situations with guns/melee being an option for desperate scenarios.
Pulling for a $199 Xbox One.
