If they had any sense they'd take notes from Mr Robot on how to do the whole "serious hacker story" shtick. Also focus on constantly using hacking to deal with situations with guns/melee being an option for desperate scenarios.
"I am well versed in combat hacking." *brandishes tablet with machete taped on*
Rockstar seems to have gone full retard at this point so it's really hard to care about anything they do.
It's been a while since i've played GTAV so i'm not sure what's wrong with it now, what have they done? A new RD game would be great as long as it adds lots of new stuff so it doesn't feel pretty much identical.
Pulling for a $199 Xbox One.
This would be amazing, I've been dying to play me some Halo
Why make another Watch Dogs game period So many other titles deserved a sequel over it, don't give us another game to explore the deep lore of magic hackers, not-lisbeth salander and batman uncle, it was hard enough to care in the first one already
They might pull off an AC2 on it. Remember the first AC? Ambitious but lacked variety in gameplay and story and then AC2 came and did everything better and less mistakes.
The first Assassin's Creed was so stupidly unbearable that I had to stop playing 1/3 of the way. Spending 60% of your time praying through a crowd of other guys in white hoodies walking BEYOND SLOW and getting punished for running through rooftops was such a fucking letdown that it left me in seething anger Not to mention the amount of people who screamed at me because "that's how it was back then!!! historical accuracy dictates this game should be fucking boring!!!" yeah no fuck that shit. if a game is fucking boring and not fun then it being historically accurate doesn't make it any better. I have a lot of salt towards AC
I stopped playing after the first AC because it glitched out on me and it was irreversible.
In regards to the whole "seriousness" of Watch Dogs, the story was boring, cliche and really just overtly-serious and that doesn't fit when you have a spider tank mini game and a jumping off things one too. I think the sequel would really benefit for having a story that doesn't take itself too seriously since its about hacking and vigilantiism.
I don't think it was a problem with the game being serious though. Watch dogs just was badly writen and had terrible characters that you never gave two fucks about. I cared more about Spider Tank than any other character in that whole game.
I really hope there are no new consoles, Would like to hear something on red dead

Speaking of pirates, it'd be optimistic to expect much from a Watch Dogs sequel but it was only a few years ago that Ubisoft revitalised AC so it's still possible.
I think the sequel would really benefit for having a story that doesn't take itself too seriously since its about hacking and vigilantiism.
I remember people (also on Facepunch) who thought that Ubisofts story department completely failed at delivering a "hero" character because Aiden Pearce was a vigilante and pretty much an anti-hero. I mean, the players were surprised that he was an anti-hero and accused Ubisoft at failing in the writing of his heroism instead of accepting him as an anti-hero.
The problem with Aiden Pearce is that he sucks It has nothing to do with being an anti-hero, hero or batman cosplayer. He's just an uninteresting and boring character and he's the protagonist so good luck being Aiden Pearce for the rest of the game. I remember one of the main positive points of the dlc being "you're not aiden pearce anymore"
Yeah, but what I meant is that people thought his anti-hero properties were Ubisofts fuck up.
I don't know if I'd want to make the hour and a half drive to the nearest theatre with this, but I'm interested.
I feel like E3 is going to be really placid this year.
Placid or flaccid, I honestly can't see there being any big reveals or upsets this year.
I'm rather curious about what Deep Silver's "major announcement" will be at E3. I would really love to see a new Metro game or even a Saints Row game(as long as it's like SR2).
My pipe dream that will never happen is using the Saints Row 4 [sp]time travel[/sp] to make Saints Row Remastered with some extra features added in later Saints Row games like actual aiming over the shoulder and co-op with a PC port. I would preorder on announcement.
Placid or flaccid, I honestly can't see there being any big reveals or upsets this year.
Battlefield 1 is about the only thing I can think of, maybe something from Bethesda but aren't they having their own separate thing?
Battlefield 1 is about the only thing I can think of, maybe something from Bethesda but aren't they having their own separate thing?
Most of that conference is predictable: Dishonored 2 gameplay, Fallout 4 + DOOM DLC, TES: Legends, BattleCry, and a surprise iOS game "Doom Shelter". They'll need something bigger to live up to last year's reveals, so maybe there'll be something new or pigs fly and Prey 2 gets revealed.

Question is whether they've recycled ideas yet again from the last iteration, if they've gone back to the original concept or if they're doing something totally new. Best possible scenario is the plot from the original idea mixed with the bounty hunter gameplay from what we saw publicly.
Don't mention Prey 2. It still hurts :c
Best case scenario, Wolfensteins' new sequel gets announced. Worst case scenario, we only gets talk of DLC for previous games and a little bit of Dishonored 2 gameplay.
I really hope there are no new consoles, Would like to hear something on red dead
I thought Rockstar doesn't typically do E3 stuff? I'd be freaking stoked to see something on a new Red Dead but I have to stay cautiously pessimistic so that I don't have my heart broken year after year like I did with the wait for Fallout 4.
someone make a bongo card and I'll resurrect http://e3.novaember.com/
I made last year's card so I can probably do another. (Anyone have any ideas for spaces?)
I really hope there are no new consoles, Would like to hear something on red dead
There definitely will be an announcement for PS4 Neo. I am almost certain, not for the considered firepower of the VR headset (Because it has it's own processor unit itself). But for the fact that Playstation wants to put themselves further ahead of Xbox as best as they can before the holiday season. Also, think of the revenue with the PS4 Neo AND their VR Headset incoming for the holiday season. They are definitely going to do it.

I really feel these new consoles if they are true have the potential to really bite them in the arse.
