Is the first Prey game worth getting, seeing as to how Prey 2 might get announced?
It's a good game, and if Prey 2 sticks to what it was in the cinematic trailer, then it will have almost nothing to with the first one, except the plane crash at the beginning being seen at the ending of the first one.
Read this you bonglords:
For Bongo, only things that happen during and/or at the conferences themselves count. Nothing before, nothing after, nothing between. When some corporate goon/Aisha Tyler is prancing around on a stage spewing buzzwords and showing trailers, that is the only time things count.
I mean, if that's the way you want to go for prizings, then alright, but I would count Battlefield 1 gameplay stream for YouTubers(because there was at least 6 of them), and 2 Telltale Games as well
Progress so far

The new Omega Force Musou game is getting revealed at the same time as the Bethesda conference which is awkward

Really hope it's Berserk

no it's just lu bu, watch
changing/adding rules During e3 is a bit of a dick move tbh.
first it's "only stuff announced during e3" and now it's "only stuff announced during main conferences" :v:
imo telltale should count.

Why are you guys taking this stupid bingo game so seriously? It's a comical board game to make watching a gaming conference more interesting, who gives a shit..
it hurts listening to my entitled gamer friends shit on the battlefield 1 gameplay saying "wow!!! its a blimp! looks too much like cod..." when I'm super excited for it.
Why are you guys taking this stupid bingo game so seriously? It's a comical board game to make watching a gaming conference more interesting, who gives a shit..
they wanna that 15$ game
imo telltale should count.
It has to count. They won't get a conference all their own and people will be looking for any means to get spots on their cards before Day 1 has even properly begun.
Literally who gives a shit this isn't the time or place
If anything this IS the time and place, as E3 is the time when companies try to sell you on a game that isn't out yet or hype you for its release. I won't devolve the thread by continuing it though, as a debate isn't the focus.

It was like that last year and nobody had an issue with it.
I'll make an exception for TellTale. But the Youtubers thing doesn't count.

well, there's prizes involved, so people get crazy over it

last year didn't have a lot of reveals before E3
last year didn't have a lot of reveals before E3
yes it did?
There have been a fuckload of reveals pre-E3 since 2014.

Pages late.
Pages late.
I aint going through however many pages to find out if I'm late or not.
It's cool shit either way for those that missed it the first time.

I mean considering how many people are in this thread and how quick it moves you can probably just assume we already know.
[editline]a[/editline]
But I mean shit might as well it'll be lost in the pages of history within 2 minutes anyway :v:
Well neither is slamming someone for deciding what they want to do with their money.
Because it fucks over the rest of the market and perpetuates a bad consumer-unfriendly business practice.

You guys the EA conference is on.

Not when all the major clients allow refunds if it's bought from their storefront.
If you buy from a key reseller that's a risk you're going to take.

What about the folks that are half and half on Pre-Orders? They don't mind Pre-ordering if they like the game, know they want it, and trust the developer who is trustworthy, and yet will never pre-order from another because of their recent history?

That's also a big truth. This anti Pre-order shit was back when steam never had refunding. Now it does, so it's really moot to go on about how evil Pre-order are, when you can just digitally refund digital download games and call it a weekend.
Not when all the major clients allow refunds if it's bought from their storefront.
If you buy from a key reseller that's a risk you're going to take.
And how many people do you think refund a pre-order? Publishers don't really give a fuck if 100,000-500,000 people (and that's a very generous estimate) refund a game after pre-ordering it, they know they still have millions of people who won't do that because they don't know/care what affect pre-ordering has on the industry.
Publishers like Ubisoft love pre-orders because it's their way to maximize sales before the game even releases, even if it's a piece of shit (which they mostly are), since most people don't even bother to get a refund even if they don't like it.
You guys the EA conference is on.
Still talking about sports games.
