i think support is one of the funnest roles. adc is boring last hit and try not to die mid game, mid is pretty much the same except you get to deal damage. support is play maker central.

I still love suppor t because even at high elo you can play almost anything as support right now if you have the right picks.

sejuani, leblanc, lee sin, xin zhao, ziggs. You can play them all as support and yeah I know there are better choices but they work if you pick well. the 3 support items give you so much versatility lmao

I've been having decent luck as maokai support recently. Point into E lvl 1 for free wards, max W for long root and % health damage, and build tank to abuse your ult's damage resist. It's legit pretty fun.

I used to play Mao support rather successfully 2 seasons back. He does great against squishy poke supports and if you use E properly you can't really get ganked unless they have a Shen/TF.

I think it's best to max Q though, as the % health dmg doesn't kick in till midgame compared to Q's flat damage. But then again, it's been a while since I rolled Mao support v:v:v

Root duration goes up with levels in W. I would still max Q though, it makes his trades disgusting. That's where he gets a lot of his power in top lane, low cooldown high base damage Q with good defenses and sustain letting him get a lot of them off during extended trades.

tbf adc sucks major ass rn so even if they get a QSS you can just stick on them and be semi tanky will prevent you from dying with your passive and Q

so ive been play exclusively zyra support for the last 50 games. i've been maxing w first then e, where people would usually max e first for the longer root duration.

but plants damage is based on character level and w gives you seeds quicker and gives plants more health so they dont die to minions or aoe damage in one shot.

That sounds terrible, to be honest. Plant HP is the least thing you should be worrying about, you want them to get their short burst off and then die so they fuck up the wave as little as possible. The highest winrate Zyra skill order right now is Q W E Q Q R max E. It's similar to Karma, Lulu, and Thresh builds; better harass for lane, then better utility after ult.

Having an almost embarrassingly easy toplane. I can poke, I can harrass, I can farm, jungler seems to be running on autopilot with how dumb his ganks are, 6/0 with Herald buff...and then there's botlane having fed a combined 12 or so deaths at this point because some fuckwit decided to play ranked without owning any support heroes so this neanderthal goes Darius and then gets pissy when we give him shit for it.

Back when I was in silver, I thought people shitting on bronze players was unfair. If there's anything this season is teaching me, it's that it really, really, really, really isn't.

There's no justification for toxicity, but bronze people should be studied by scientists on their ability to fuck up the simplest of things and have a complete lack of logic

I really don't get it. Even in Dota 2, when I hovered around 2k MMR for a while, people weren't this consistent at being astoundingly stupid.

He said it's because I valued my score over my team.

Now, I was Zac with my passive up and Guardian's Angel. I didn't play safe, I had to be the one to engage since my team was pretty squishy. Which I did, usually ended up using either my GA or passive after a teamfight.

But this obtuse motherfucker had the balls to call me out for "playing safe" when I didn't want to die trying to save his mongoloid ass. We lost because we had no damage to back up my CC due to the Jhin being complete garbage.

I just don't understand how they can so freely shift blame, he was the one constantly overextending and getting killed and he expects me to go die with him? Fuck that, I'm not gonna get myself killed just to try and save his ass. We deserved that loss, it was out of my control at that point when we had a team fight where there was basically no damage done to them from our side while I tanked pretty much everything.

Absolutely impressed with the calibre of players at Bronze/Silver. They need to be studied for the sake of science as phenomena on how logically defunct people act and behave, and how they can pretty much warp and deny reality.

I am having a strange issue with League since I tried to get back into it. Randomly while in a match, whether it's against bots, other players, or even a custom game by myself, my framerate will randomly drop from 60 to 57 fps. It doesn't sound like much, but it is very jarring, and has screwed me over on multiple occasions. Does anyone know what might cause this issue? I'm running an i7 6700k with a GTX 780ti and 16 gb of ram, I can't imagine it's a hardware issue.

Edit:

Turning off Vsync and uncapping my framerate solves that issue, but whatever character I am playing will just jump around the screen every time I click. Capping the framerate at 120 seems to have solved this, but having vsync off give me shitty screen tearing that bugs the shit out of me. Just can't win lol

It is extremely jarring. It has messed up my ability to click on something or time abilities during a fight. I don't know if League's FPS counter is accurate, because it feels like a much larger drop, like the game hitches completely for about half a second.

You should start using CTRL + Q/W/E/R to level abilities, it makes utilizing levels in combat a lot better.
