But just like Darius, some good team composition planning and smart playing can shut her out completely. Even if your team doesn't want to be that flexible, you have to focus on how you would handle the problem. For example a team with a lux and a kog maw would be a huge pain in the ass for her if played properly because that effectively removes 2 champs from her aoe ult and tentacle healing. So even if the other 3 went how they want you would have a strong composition against it.

what are yall building on poppy only thing i know is that mastery that steals life every once in a while is great with her passive in lane

Boots of swiftness, frozen gauntlet, maw of mal, z'rot, titan hydra/ravenous depending on situation and spirit visage/randuins. edit- I like to rush gauntlet with boots of swiftness for good intiates and escaping with stickiness. It gets really ridiculous with z'rot, you can always position nice stuns. edit - and unlike deadmans plate you wont lose your speed bonus after the first attack. Though if you want it you can substitute it for the randuins or frozen gauntlet because by then you would be pretty much sanic.

Can go damage, tanky or aura-based. They're also all mostly safe picks.
