League of Legends v35 - Gangplank appreciation thread - Games

I bought Braum and Azir. Azir feels so awkward to play.

I feel like Azir, since season 6, has become really clunky despite his bug fixes. I played him so much before, but he feels way more inflexible now.

So I've made 2 S Ranks the two times I've played since the inclusion of Hextech Crafting but still haven't gotten anything. Furthermore, I got an S Rank on my Rank 5 Ezreal and didn't get anything. What gives?

How do you actually beat Nasus nowadays in lane? I feel like with the runes and masteries he's just impossible to actually counter anymore. At best you can slow down his farming but his early game is not as bad as it used to be. You can have almost 20% lifesteal at level 1 along with grasp of the undying which makes trading usually go in your favor. I just feel like with all the new tools Nasus has been given, short of jungler intervention, you can't really do much in that lane anymore.

Like maybe an item that allows you to kill a certain number of your own minions sort of like how DOTA lets you deny creep farm that way. Would actually give some strategy to fighting against stack farming champions other than "dont let it get to late game".

Got chat restricted over one game over a month ago, now I can't get rewards. Emailed support asking when I can earn them and their response was "once you've shown clear improvement" which basically means whenever they feel like it. Not gonna lie I was toxic that game, but I was surprised I got banned over one game over these five years (and before you say it must have been more than one, I contacted support and looked over the reform card, etc. It was one game).

I would imagine it wouldn't have very many other benefits, and shouldn't build into anything. I think it would turn it into a laning phase item that you can ditch later, and as such the enemy could get ahead in their build if you don't utilize it properly. Another interesting thing would be maybe the way it allows you to deny creep farm? For example, what if the passive was you have to last hit the creep with an autoattack to deny it? If you hit one of your creeps and it doesn't die the enemy gets that creeps gold guaranteed? I just think some items focused more on counter playing certain styles would be interesting.

This way, you can't use it to abuse someone who is already behind you, and it will only be worth buying if they are able to farm harder than you. Maybe there'd be some balance issues if supports started buying it though, since they'd have like 2 cs and the enemy adc would have 100+.

Killing your creep = bye bye enemy goldie is already more simple than Jhin's movement speed into jalapeños vigor and attack speed into gallons per minute gimmickery

champion specific mechanics are one thing tho, denying is a whole other can of worms i dont think we should be opening

I used to shit on Nasus but nowadays regardless of the champion I play, trades are usually equal or in his favor in the early game which totally goes against what he should be or the few times trades actually go in my favor, at best I'm just setting him back 5 minutes before he starts diving me and/or the rest of my team. Short of jungle intervention or unless someone on your team with a carry role gets a very very good game, Nasus WILL eventually make your chances of winning get lower and lower and lower. He was always like that but you always had the time to do something before he got to that point but now he gets to that point so much more early. It's like a bomb where the defuse timer went from 30 minutes to 15 minutes or something.

I don't know if ranked is worth playing. I main ADC, specifically Tristana, but people seem to have a horrible disposition towards me if I decide to back away from a fight I know can't be won, or that I'll get killed in two seconds in, as I have a good sense for how much damage is about to come my way, and how much I can retaliate with. Like, we're talking four people beating down on me relentlessly throughout the whole game making sure I know that everything that went wrong in the game is my fault, and that they're going to report me. Meanwhile, the Volibear, who is dishing out the most BM, is 0/12/4 and we can't team fight, so I can't get any kills because their Rengar and Twitch are everywhere ready to pounce me at a moments notice, and I can't farm because we have no ward coverage. In the end, my score was 4/5/2, so, admittedly, I didn't contribute too much to the game, but there was never an opportunity for me to. It sucks knowing that I can beat Gold league bot lanes with relative ease in normals, but once I try ranked everything just kind of falls to pieces, and people BM me all game even when I'm doing alright. I try my best to ignore my team mates BM, but then I end up BM'ing back, and I realize I'm no better than them. I feel like I'm going to be trapped in Bronze forever, now, and I haven't even finished my placement matches. I was really looking forward to ranked, too, as normals had gotten a little boring to me.
