I don't know if ranked is worth playing. I main ADC, specifically Tristana, but people seem to have a horrible disposition towards me if I decide to back away from a fight I know can't be won, or that I'll get killed in two seconds in, as I have a good sense for how much damage is about to come my way, and how much I can retaliate with. Like, we're talking four people beating down on me relentlessly throughout the whole game making sure I know that everything that went wrong in the game is my fault, and that they're going to report me. Meanwhile, the Volibear, who is dishing out the most BM, is 0/12/4 and we can't team fight, so I can't get any kills because their Rengar and Twitch are everywhere ready to pounce me at a moments notice, and I can't farm because we have no ward coverage. In the end, my score was 4/5/2, so, admittedly, I didn't contribute too much to the game, but there was never an opportunity for me to. http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/38349874#matches/2133924983 <---- Game in question I can accept that I screwed up a few times in the early game, but to pin everything that happens on me is ridiculous. The Talon on my team ran into a 1v4 got a kill, expected me to back him up as they kill him in less than a second, and then called me, "trash/useless," in the chat. It feels like every game someone is telling me how horrible I am at the game, even when I'm trying my hardest. Is ranked even worth playing? Does it ever get better? I'm doing my placement matches with bronze and silvers, right now, and they're already the most egocentric shitheads on the planet. It sucks knowing that I can beat Gold league bot lanes with relative ease in normals, but once I try ranked everything just kind of falls to pieces, and people BM me all game even when I'm doing alright. I try my best to ignore my team mates BM, but then I end up BM'ing back, and I realize I'm no better than them. I feel like I'm going to be trapped in Bronze forever, now, and I haven't even finished my placement matches. I was really looking forward to ranked, too, as normals had gotten a little boring to me. The worst part is, I have no idea how to up my ADC game without actually playing ranked and getting used to it, but I don't feel like being harassed. I suppose I could mute everyone, but I don't like the thought of doing that, either. What do? Also, sorry for the long winded post.
Don't listen to your teammates at lower ranks, usually they are downright retarded and are not worth arguing with. Learn to just /mute all and just play the game. I'm pretty thick skinned but I still get the pangs of wanting to call our 0/18/0 janna an inbred cunt biscuit. It should get better as long as you push forward, play your best and don't let anybody tell you otherwise.
I'm thinking of making a facepunch club on euw, anyone up?
I stopped playing the game as much due to the tremendous amount of anger directed towards everyone, everywhere. It's also difficult to learn an entirely new meta or how items work again without introducing yourself to their applications inside of a game against other players, and not keeping up with the times makes you prime bait for others to blame. One of the main problems I have with this game is just how much losing one player or having one player swap to their TILT state can impact the result of a match. You could mute them, surely, but you can't mute purposeful douche-bag stunts. From what I've noticed, people tend to hype themselves up on how the later ranks "have less ragers and trolls", but to me, even in G1, I'm still seeing people throw hissy fits over the simplest shit. But that's really the human nature to get angered and annihilated anally over failure, and from my point of view, I can understand that. League of Legends is a game where matches can last easily 20 to 40 minutes, and a lot of people seem to not have the patience to stumble through that once they've fucked up once.
I'm thinking of making a facepunch club on euw, anyone up?
What do u mean fp club? I would play again if it was with some fpers to goof around, too bad ninny and the other cool fags dont play anymore.
DFT IS the best keystone for Jhin for that exact reason, you can do absurd amounts of damage lategame with his insane AD scores. I could see the argument for Thunderlord's to some extent, but DFT is generally all I see on people who know the champion.
I had the pleasure of having three toxic players on my team in ARAM, who got mad at me because I didn't know how to play Jayce. I have no idea who gets salty in ARAM these days, but whatever. They mine the usual "ur mom" and "kill yourself" out of the salt mine in Finnish, we lose and I join another ARAM game, this time playing as Jhin. To my joy, I noticed the three saltketeers are on the opposing team now. Not even 10 seconds after the game loads, they berate me for using Deathfire Touch as an ADC in /all chat. Someone enlighten me why would I use Fervor as Jhin, because I have no idea why would he benefit from it given his low attack speed and need to reload. Maybe Thunderlord's would be a better choice, who knows, but I thought DT would be good for Jhin because of his ridiculously scaling attack damage. In any case, our team beat them without any real difficulty. It was most likely just luck since we had three ranged champions, but I'd be lying if I said walking over their corpses and twirling my gun didn't feel good. Putting down as many lotus traps and poking them with my W only added to the brine in the air of /all chat. It wasn't really my most impressive victory, but defeating one toxic Platinum 2 player and his two unranked buddies made it all worth it.
Älä anna niille sen mahdollisuuden puhuu paskaa. Just mute them. It's a win/win. Is DTF better than the crit one?
The potential damage DFT can bring is more useful than WB by far.
The potential damage DFT can bring is more useful than WB by far.
I've tried DFT but I never really felt the impact. At least warlords synergizes with his passive and gives him free heals on his 4th shot. Hell I even tried Stormraider's surge just because of the chance of me doing 30% of their health is pretty high in a teamfight.
Warlord's Bloodlust got changed a couple patches ago, it's scaling lifesteal for how much health you have. It's pretty bad.
Warlord's Bloodlust got changed a couple patches ago, it's scaling lifesteal for how much health you have. It's pretty bad.
Well shit. What's a good build on Gangplank these days? I've seen people get Statikk Shiv early as well.
Warlord's Bloodlust got changed a couple patches ago, it's scaling lifesteal for how much health you have. It's pretty bad.
It's bad? Everyone else has been calling it broken, especially on someone like Graves if you get blood dance. Scales up to 20% life steal (10% to minions) depending on HP.

It's good on Graves but that's because Fervor isn't, though jungle Graves might still just take Strength of the Ages since that seems to be the jungler keystone atm.
I'm thinking of making a facepunch club on euw, anyone up?
Ok guys add OttR on EUW and I'll make a club, idk what the best way to do it would be.
I just played the most perfect game of Gangplank I've ever played. And I didn't get an S+, what kind of perfection does this game want?
Probably wards placed or dmg

I think it's like a 60% ratio or something? Considering he can get 800+ AD pretty easy by lategame, that's a huge chunk of damage. You can use your ult just to poke at that point, sorta like Caitlyn's.
I just played the most perfect game of Gangplank I've ever played. -snip- And I didn't get an S+, what kind of perfection does this game want?
I had a 14/0/7 Skarner game the other day where we literally killed nexus at 25 and I only got an S- Willing to bet they increased the difficulty of S-ranks now that crafting is a thing
i heard cs plays a big part in it but that was a long time ago [editline]24th March 2016[/editline] all that one year ago
I always thought it compared like every metric with the metrics of all the other players with the same champ in the same position? [editline]24th March 2016[/editline] or something like that, it's impossible to know which metrics they use/how they weigh them
It's bad? Everyone else has been calling it broken, especially on someone like Graves if you get blood dance. Scales up to 20% life steal (10% to minions) depending on HP.
it's basically the keystone you take for ad's with either weak early games (vayne in particular) or people who scale well with lifesteal because they just shit out damage with a tankier build (graves as you said) it's almost all you see on vayne now, her sustain in lane helps sooo much transitioning into a point where you actually do something without being 0/3 out of lane phase. really anyone who has either poor trading or is bad vs their lane opponent benefits alot. if you know you're going to have a shit lane phase as jhin or someone, there are a couple merits to taking it over DFT, but otherwise the late game damage (+200dmg to each ult hit as a dot) is way too important.
Meanwhile I'm getting S-, S games left and right I don't understand why people are struggling with this
Meanwhile I'm getting S-, S games left and right I don't understand why people are struggling with this
people just gotta git gud
Meanwhile I'm getting S-, S games left and right I don't understand why people are struggling with this
Is it because not every champ has the same requirements for S ranks right? Like graves for instance, he does tons of damage and can get tons of kills, to be an S rank on him requires doing better than average graves which is already pretty broken so S rank is not as easy?
play half decent ull never get anything lower than A rank if you do you're just not playing optimally sorry but thats what the grading system is FOR
Just bought Aurelion Sol. Tested him out in a custom game: :why:

As a support main I just place a lot of wards, take a lot of damage and help a lot and I get S most of the time.

Ppl better hit me (ign Lewdis) and Confuzzed Otto (ign OttR) up in game to get in on the euw group for some sick games and stuff
