I wonder when they're going to finally rework the main lore since there's no League of Legends or Institute of War anymore. Everyone's now kind of just grouping up to kill each other and blow up the Nexus for... reasons.
Think of League of Legends gameplay like Overwatch's. In the game, you have a team of random champions who would probably never meet (or ally with one another) fighting another team of random champions. That's the gameplay. Both the stories are not tied to the gameplay, other than just giving characters special interactions with certain other characters.
ye but league already had a legit explanation that made *some* measure of sense, and threw it out the window
They gave pretty clear reasons for why they retconned the League and the Institute of War. They wanted to develop the world of Runeterra more, and the existence of the Institute obstructed that. I'm well aware of how that decision made a lot of lore fans unhappy, myself included, but I think the work they've been doing so far is pretty nice.
I never liked the whole "Summoner" and "Institute of War" thing, just seems like weird fanfiction

Honestly I'm just happy they started giving attention to lore again instead of "Hey this is a new Champ and he's pissed cause some random people kicked his dog"
cya tyler
cya tyler
the amount of tyler defenders on the riot forums is insane, they're just pointing fingers at other streamers who deserve to get banned as well tyler did take the ban pretty calmly though, he full well knew it was coming and was probably counting days until it happened.
wtf
wtf
IIRC happens when you dodge at low enough LP?
Yeah I got it from dodging but I thought I wouldnt drop under 0
I miss solo queue, this new weird queue is too filled with groups of 2-4 who think they are so much better than everyone else in Bronze 5 I can't even win one game anymore lmao
Oh, tyler1 was finally permabanned? Thank god, I'm glad to see him go. That guy was everything wrong with the League community. His legions of followers and supporters are insane. They can't honestly believe that he was actually 'reformed,' or that Riot did not have legitimate reason to shut him down.
Fezian vs League Season 6: The Tiltining
Also, can someone explain to me how it's fair that you can match up against a premade of 3-5 in voice coms. Also, it's really annoying cause at least beforehand you only had to deal with smurfs, now you have to deal with premades who might also be smurfs.
Also, can someone explain to me how it's fair that you can match up against a premade of 3-5 in voice coms.
I've never had a problem with these premades in ranked so far. They always just seem to lose...
I can't win any games anymore, gg. This game has gotten longer queues and now even unwinnable games. Glad to see this game is going places.

By this point, I really think you should put the game down for a long time, or even forever if you think that it is so bad. It's obvious you don't like the game, but continue to play most likely for some kind of proof that you're not entirely bottom tier. I say, why let a game define your worth?
dont give him attention we all know how this goes
I get it that they wanted to develop Runeterra more, but couldn't they have just removed the League of Legends and the Institute of War in a way that isn't "THEY NEVER EVEN EXISTED BYE"? In Team Fortress 2, the two Mann brothers (the leaders of BLU and RED teams respectively) got killed off by their long-lost third brother to set the stage for a completely different gamemode where BLU and RED united to fight robots, but the old gamemodes where BLU and RED fought each other were still playable. Say, something terrible like Malzahar brings some eldritch abomination from the Void and fucks up everything, destroying the League. The usual League matches would just happen before the League got destroyed, story-wise and whatever Riot wants to happen afterwards, well, happens after the destruction of League.
Except the only way to destroy the League would be something like the Void invasion, which they want to set the stage for. Nobody else would even be strong enough to deal with them. They were stupidly powerful, and if you attacked the Institute you would probably start a war with everyone else. Even Noxus had plenty to gain by leaving it alone.
Match starts. Bot lane? Nowhere to be seen. Top lane? Nowhere to be seen. Mid? 5 people most of the time. Clearly it was a master plan.
The Thresh curse is real Every time I want to play that champion, my ADC is always some braindead Ashe who doesn't know how the lantern works no matter how I explain it and I'm facing a gold Kalista because why not gg
Rude, Ashe is best soloqueue ADC.
I can't play bot lane at all because I'm a bad ADC/Support but also because I don't understand how to play with another player because I never know what's on his mind. I once played Zyra support looooong ago, probably almost 2 years ago and my ADC was trying to all in against a Leona and I think Graves pre-rework all the time and would blame me when I couldn't save her. I barely play bot lane since.
Well, I don't mind Ashe as a champion, it's just that in my last Thresh game, I went against a gold Kalista with an overly suicidal Ashe who would never click the lantern despite my countless instructions :vs: Jhin's my personal torp-tier ADC in soloqueue though, if just a bit risky
Jhin is an incredibly crappy pick if you wanna play soloQ. He has a bad self peel and is risky - If you get a bad support you're pretty fucked. Same goes for other low self-reliant champs such as Ashe and Jinx [editline]2nd May 2016[/editline] He's still incredibly fun to play, especially when ahead though so even though he's a bad pick in that regard I still enjoy him way more than most other ADCs
low mobility carries arent very soloq friendly in general imo
Unless you're dia+ they're really risky. Same goes with Thresh, Lee Sin and stuff like that. Sure it may work in lower elos, but you usually don't seem to get proper follow up otherwise
What boots for new Taric?
