You also need damage done and probably buildings destroyed. They're planning on redoing it entirely soon, so just play and wait until they make it less random.

CS is also very important. Like, very, very important. I've got games where I go around 9/5 with GP but I still get an S+ because I focus on CS.
I fucking hate the rating system because it encourages people playing their single player RPG. I literally had this Jax who outright said he was just in for the ratings and S+ so he pretty much did nothing but play his singlerplayer RPG game, did nothing but farm, stole kills when he could, would pussy out at the slightest chance that he might die (Aka any 5v5 teamfight) to keep his perfect score.
He did get S+ at the end but we lost horribly.

16/4/10, stealing kills like mad and farming most of the time -- S+ perfect performance

Why is lucian allowed to destroy me within seconds with 304 armor and 4k health when he doesn't have a single armor pen item.
Crits are designed to deal with tanks.
Also because Lucian is STILL insanely strong because of his passive.

Honestly, I'm more inclined to say this over in ranked at the moment. Just had two awful games as Twitch with the same basic problem; a staggering lack of awareness.
Game 1, Alistar joins me in lane, we're up against a [I]horridly[/I] aggressive Jinx/Zyra lane. We get no help, first turret goes down after like 8 minutes as well as a few kills. I stay in lane farming because a fed Jinx in a teamfight is going to destroy me. We lose, I get shit for doing 13k damage to champs.
Game 2, Volibear says he's support, spends most of his time at top while I get to sit around bottom with my thumb up my ass, barely get decent farm, we lose, 12k damage to champs, team points and yells at me again.
Just go play normals and watch some streams for high elo mid mains. Even non-mid players are still good because at your skill level you're missing a lot of fundamental skills that every high elo player will know. Like, I watch Dyrus, Annie Bot, QT, and used to watch TheOddOne. I main support with a backup of top lane, but I still learn [i]so[/i] much about the game from Annie Bot (mid mostly), QT (ADC), and TheOddOne (Jungle) that translates into my support game.
Dyrus teaches me stuff that rolls into support too, but I honestly watch him just because I like him. The top and support stuff I pick up from him is just a bonus.

I watch IWillDominate for jungling as well. He's pretty solid at it. He sometimes explains his choices.
i watch dom for the flames, though watching him has helped my reksai a lot

Just hit S+ in this game, and from what I can see it's all about a few key ingredients;
- Fat sustain, get a steady income either by using spare time to farm or getting Zz'Rot Portal / Banner of Command / Frost Queen / all of them
- Survival over power, better to have utilities / CC than to slam a single 400 punch and then be stuck with cooldown, cause utilities / CC means better ganks
- Magic penetration runes like a boss, so even tiny AP does fat dunks, cooldown masteries for maximum spam, and mana regain because more fat sustain
and to fix up the rough edges, I look up my last games on lolskill just to see where my average is hurt, i.e. from lack of monies or too many deaths.

now I try to average a maximum of 6 deaths per game, as that's the nami average.
I guess the average stats are different for each server? Because I'm playing in VN and my 17/8/17 as AD only got me A-. Granted I CS'd like a retard and only got ~160@20 and at the end I only had 220. Same for a match that I was 9/3/12 and 303@45.
Man, the race for Mastery 6 and 7 is crazy I'm telling you.

Holy crap, Ziggs is [I]criminally[/I] fun to play! Seriously, no champion makes me giggle with my kills as much, besides possibly Fiora. He's easy to pick up, he's got fun poke and his ult, under the right circumstances, can absolutely [B]level[/B] the enemy team.

I just need to get his pool party skin because that might just be the coolest fucking skin in the entire game.

I had a game where our wukong was legit 0/9/0 at 23 min and actually solo'd a 6/3 kha. We were talking complete shit to him at 20 min and he ended the game 6/10. We actually won that game for some damn reason.
How is this possible?
Well how it usually happens is people complain about a guy doing badly in a video game so he does worse and becomes 0/9. Then he calms down and mutes the toxic entities that he unfortunately had to put up with (thats you and your team) and uses his skills to win.
The game relies on making logical decisions and while that may be so obvious to people, they seem to forget it in game when they let their emotions get the better of them and work against their team. I gurantee that wukong would've done much better earlier without all of you "shit talking" him.
Also k/d means jack shit if you don't have the teamwork and objective taking skills to end the game. I am sure his cs wasn't too shabby either.

I fucking hate doing that. It feels [i]so[/i] bad to buy a vamp scepter just for the sustain while you build into something else. Honestly vamp scepter as an item in general just feels terrible to build.
Do we talk about competitive here or no?
