League of Legends v35 - Gangplank appreciation thread - Games

Honestly it's kind of a mixed bag for every role. I've seen super shitbag supports, junglers, mid laners, ADCs, and tops. From tanks, to carry players, to utility, everything. I've seen the Riven top lane who's probably bitching about us in RL but just playing her lane and silently relieving enough pressure to let us come back in, and I've seen the top lane Shen who tilts as soon as the support gets killed during a 4-man dive. I've seen farm junglers who ignore farm to relieve pressure so their laners can survive when they go back to farming, and I've seen early pressure junglers literally never leave their jungle except to die in the enemy jungle. (Legends say that Shaco is still farming for 'just one more camp' to this day) I've seen feast or famine champs get camped and go behind but get support from their team and come back to be able to pull their weight, and I've seen tanks soaking every bit of farm they can from their carries and letting them starve to near uselessness. It's a huge game. Every elo, every role, every champion has douchebags and genuinely good people. But no yeah, as a support main fuck most ADCs.

Yeah, it's one of the things that carries over from my Dota days. Support is a thankless role, which makes it such a shame that some of my favorite champs are support.

I just play support and literally abandon my ADC past a certain time in the game to go and help other lanes, because there's a clear threshold in that game (and in dota) where the help you can give to a single lane because superficial and it becomes the carry's responsibility to get up their fat ass and start working towards winning the game. Basically fuck ADCs, if they can't put their shit together and learn to rotate and be useful then they deserve to die ten times alone like the dumb fucks they are.

You shouldn't always permaroam. I mean sometimes your ADC is literally retarded and being in lane is just going to tilt you more and give them more kills so permaroaming is fine, but there's plenty of times where sticking with your ADC and applying more pressure bot lane is the right thing to do.

Lol toxicity isn't tied ti a certain role, anyone can be toxic and whine all game. Calling most adc players ragers and babies n saying fuck adc players is pretty toxic in itself. [editline]1st August 2016[/editline] Just learn how to manage people, I can diffuse a situation easily and my attitude in game stops most people from going mental, make people laugh or smile, accept some blame that isn't on you and you'll stop these people tilting. I've seen how some people here talk to other players n they don't realize how they talk back to people will antagonize them more.

Once had a Heimer top against a Garen. Nothing exciting happened top lane, it was all quiet. Then, 20 minutes in, Garen comes out of the jungle and 1v3s. I look at the score, Garen is [b]140[/b] CS up over Heimer. The Heimer couldn't understand how he was so strong since he never died to him. I mean realistically the Garen wiping the floor with us in that fight was my fault because I wasn't watching his score, but holy shit.

No the worst part wasn't even the Garen, the worst part was the Heimer had [B]48 CS[/B]. I remember it specifically because I was completely stunned and baffled at how a HEIMER could fail to CS so spectacularly. I roam as support when it gets to the point where the lane is lost indefinitely and I know I can get kills, roaming is situational but if you get upset and roam to spite ur adc u should be reported

What makes people want to run champions as support, even though they probably shouldn't? Just had a game where their bot lane ran support Zed. And he still did better than their ADC.

That's called a kill lane. It's a cheese strat designed to take advantage of people not used to it. Play like the biggest bitch on the Rift and don't give him any kills and he becomes useless after 10-15 minutes.

Got to lane as Singed vs Caitlyn just now. Most boring laning phase ever.

Bought some augmented chests and actually got a Project: Ashe shard, which was exactly the skin I wanted to buy after opening the chests

I feel like this new batch of Project skins are just generally less impressive than the first ones. Project Ashe is nice enough, but Katarina and Ekko are kinda underwhelming.
