League of Legends v35 - Gangplank appreciation thread - Games

I've only tried to get back into ranked once and bot lane went Kennen + Poppy because KILL LANE GUYS they got crushed and fed the enemy Lucian haven't tried since

You know I hear a lot about douche adcs but holy shit I just had a support who was frankly fucking cancer. Simply put he was an aggressive thresh and I was a jhin who wanted to farm early game, he kept complaining I wouldn't "back him up" because he kept trying to engage the ezreal/kled kill lane. So of course when he gives first blood he proceeds to go the usual route of saying nothing at all and just playing separate lanes from whoever gained his ire. So we would have 3 mid and a shaco off being shaco with this thresh farming or doing something else if I was involved. I didn't get one lantern that entire game. We lost fairly even at 22 to 15 with similar turrets (all 2ndary turrets) by surrendering because I didnt want to play that. Like holy fuck how petty can you be to absolutely deny all teamwork because your adc wanted to be more passive early on? -edit- not to mention its hard to actually nail people for doing this since its so fucking passive and can chalk it up to "uhhhh i didnt know any better", even though he was a mastery 7 thresh.

sounds like as soon as he started getting annoyed with you, it was more of a spiteful thing. i've had my fair share of douche supports, not as frequent but its a thankless job so its not hard to understand why they can get pissy. i had the same thing happen with me, but the support being a taric. thought i was ready, went in 2-3 times, got his ass handed to him, his jungler clannie came in unannounced and killed one guy and left, and i was suddenly the most useless member of the team. cue the endless patronizing despite me doing a lot better mid + end game, and even as we won, he makes snarky comments about how bad i did. his death ratio was the same as his assists, around 12 each i think? if my support went up a lane, that would've been a godsend. cause a support can't help their adc if they can't help themselves. i'd rather mid/top lane have that problem.

which support is more worth it, bard or tahm kench? I have the IP for one and both of them seem super fun

Mikael's Cruble + Abyssal(?), and then just mash the W heal like ass during teamfights.

Hell all matches seems to be just the same generic drill; - ADC AFK farms, - Mid and I get in a max toxic beef about me poking the enemy and taking occasional dmg, - I ragequit bot and go help jungle ganks, - Mid + top now super fed, - Win the game with mid still raging super hard about how I don't protect the sucky ADC. - ADC having said nothing the entire game, just occasionally spams the "Careful!" emote in retarded gesture for me to return bot. Nobody seems to understand that supp is supposed to help the entire team and not just babysit the ADC. Hell the only reason that I even spent the first 10 minutes early game in bot lane is cause the AFK farming ADC's don't know how to freeze a lane, so they push 'till they're under enemy tower and then get killed over and over and over, means I just gotta stand there being useless and occasionally heal when they get poked.

My bigger problem lately is people thinking that jungle can do everything. Lane's pushed to their tower so I can't really gank? Shit jungle, report. Top feeds because someone had the bright idea of picking Teemo as the very first in draft, making ganking kind of an impossible task? Shit jungle, report. Go for drake, see bot lane + jungler coming my way, forcing me to abandon drake and they take it? Shit jungle, report. Come to gank bot lane but they get annihilated so I turn back to avoid running in 1v3? Shit jungle, report.

You're meant to set up the plays bottom and then go from there when he's strong enough. I feel like these are just low rank games everyone's talking about where their teammates are just mouth breathers or I might just be too used to people I play with knowing how to play

Shit jungle, report.[/QUOTE] looks more to me that people who complain to the jungler when they get ganked just can't defend themselves properly. i'd only ever complain if the junger has zero involvement in ganking lanes while the enemy jungler is busy having a field day for 5-10 minutes. otherwise its a problem with the gank victims over extending/not warding/being too aggressive and not expecting retaliation i mean its so obvious when you murder your lane opponent early, a jungler has a 75% percent chance of coming in and trying to attack or take over lane or when the enemy team is missing, they're doing dragon and will probably gank whoevers far down to their lane. even the "best" fuck up and don't realize it.

Soooo my last game as Vi... Gank bot lane, barely 5 seconds after that, top starts asking for a gank. Grab Lissandra on mid, making it a 1-1 trade because our Lee Sin decided it was a great idea to go in with 10% health. Move to top, prep my Q, Graves uses his E and backs out. Don't have flash up or my ult to close the distance so gank fails and mid pays us a visit without LS calling missing. Go back, top calls me useless and threatens with AFK. Ask LS to start calling missing since it was the second time already, asks me when I'm going to start ganking (3/0 at this point while he's something like 1/4, that's what you get for going LS mid against Lissandra when you're this shit). Bot, who has fed a combined 7-8 kills at this point because of their insistence on chasing when they're on low health, starts whining about me never ganking. Muted the entire team and just spent as much as I could farming jungle. Childish, yes, I'm fully aware of that but with a day like this, I've lost patience with shitheads like this. Especially when (and I don't usually like doing this but fuck it) there's 3 bronze players, one of whom being a goddamn bronze 5.

I'd say at least your mid laner didn't ragequit 10 minutes into your last match and blame the jungler, but that probably would've worked out better for you. We actually fucking won bot lane as Vayne/Morgana vs Jinx/Nautilus, - in part because Nautilus was fucking terrible and took heal and instead of anything useful - but we couldn't do anything because a fed tank Yasuo, LeBlanc, and Elise just shit on our Riven and Vi whenever anything happened. I did pretty well, but I can't peel that much when we have to cede towers every fight.

I rerolled into my favorite skin for Cassi. I don't own Cassi. I don't even play mid. I'm a fucking support. I know it's silver, but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to make Cassi support work. But I can't reroll it because I really like the skin.
