Make it so that it fits on the back of the Ural (Empty) and so you can drive it around like that when it's in its packed state. This'd actually give the truck some usefulness without breaking vehicle physics/causing huge clipping issues. Towing is nice but the last time I remember seeing it in Arma it made me die a little.
Towing has improved greatly in the last few years in Arma. I currently got something like this going: (Using Lesh's towing framework to make it compatible. Towing tractor is for illustration purposes since the Ural needs some configs to be able to tow stuff)
I wished ACE would add a defibrillator. Giving 100 times CPR to someone without heart rate is kind of tedious..

You might want to use a PFH to get rid of the stuttering.
I wished ACE would add a defibrillator. Got interested since both CUP and RHS make use of it, and RHS usually doesen't incorporate third-party frameworks, so that was kinda surprising. Haven't looked into the code itself, however this is what's written in the description:
The mod is designed to work in multiplayer and dedicated environments. The tow functions are run on the clients doing the actual towing so there is minimal performance hit on the server beyond the network updates caused by updating the vehicles directions and velocities. There is 1 function that relies on remoteExec which relates to transferring locality of objects. If remoteExec is disabled on the server/mission you can transfer locality of the target vehicle by getting into it as pilot.
It'd make things like fixing overturning and car crashes possible without Zeus.
Could you technically make towing rope with that framework? It'd make things like fixing overturning and car crashes possible without Zeus.
Technically yes and no. Overturning vehicles would work, however actually towing vehicles with the rope does not, as the wheels don't roll when you pull a vehicle with the rope, and thus the vehicle your towing starts to turn over and flip.
A defibrillator has very specific use cases, and getting someoneout of cardiac arrest isn't one of them.
Yesterday, I had multiple cases of not being able to get people out of cardiac arrest (no heart rate) even tho they were right next to a medical facility and all their other attributes were nominal. Then I had some who received more then 5 liters of IV and still had the "lost lot's of blood status" while blood pressure was in the greens.
Do I have to be in the in-group before I can make fun of that whole debacle? You're reading into my posts like I'm the hater here. Ask anyone from /a3g/ about me: I'm not malicious like you want to paint me as. What's really funny to me is how relaxed and friendly everyone is to me once I'm in-game. These threatening tones vanish when I'm actually speaking one-on-one with you.
I didn't have a problem with you in-game that one time we were in the same squad. I legitimately don't understand why you decide to use this grumpy old man/sarcastic asshole attitude. Noone likes it, and it's pretty clear. You act like some sort of angsty teenager and yet you are supposed to be an adult, it's ridiculous. You should consider improving your forum behaviour, unless you are like this in general and just lack the balls to show it. In that case, there isn't much hope for you and it won't take long until people stop tolerating you around here. And then you can go wherever you please.
guys I have a computer with a CPU that isn't from 6 years ago now I can play Arma 3 at beyond 4 fps in MP now. I might join an OP with you guys and not immediately begin to regret my very existence as soon as I get into the game. It'll be like playing a game instead of a choose your own adventure slideshow where no matter what someone's vehicle is gonna try to land on the moon.
pfff that's nothing when diwako was my tank driver i had to post him screenshots of where we were going because his framerate was so poor (also welcome to fparma)

I was looking forward to being a Baboon, but somehow my phone ran out of battery (it was 20% full so I dunno). So no waking up at the correct time, oh well.
Saw people hating on opec missions, but at least opec missions are fun and doesn't revolve around asking zues to teleport people because of fucked up spawns #OpecForOfficialMissionMaker2016 #MakeMissionsGreatAgain
great first post, thank you for your valuable contribution to our thread

What was the reason for teleporting the Baboon plane to it's death anyway?
What was the reason for teleporting the Baboon plane to it's death anyway?
There was none, It's just a bad zues most likely.
This ArmA 3 Medical KO was brought to you by Booboo the Tactical fuckboy cat [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/nLanPeQ.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
Despite the technical issues, it was great fun. [t]https://my.mixtape.moe/ypyhyk.png[/t]
What was the reason for teleporting the Baboon plane to it's death anyway?
I tried to put it on the ground, but it must've not set velocity to 0 properly or just clipped into the ground. Sorry about that and generally everything else. This mission was pretty rushed, not gonna lie. There was no proper testing and I actually grabbed the wrong version of the template. I worked 1.5 days on it. I just thought I would try and get it done as best I could since either way it was a broken mission or no mission.
that op was pretty terrible, the list of what was wrong with the mission is at least 2 pages long but overall i give it a zero.
