I'd really like to join in on the FPARMA shenanigans
I've had a lot of fun since I started, it's crazy and nicely relaxed. Although it may be like another week before I return. The Division is all consuming of my time right now. I might be able to help you get set up since I just did the same myself, send me a PM whenever you're wanting to and I can try to help.
I'd really like to join in on the FPARMA shenanigans
We also have a mission coming up this Sunday which has slots you can sign up for if you get everything sorted by then: http://fparma.herokuapp.com/events/event/co-siege-condition
I think starting with a comfy was better for me since it's very casual, there is little pressure, as well as being quite forgiving with mistakes and such. Also has let me get to know people a little, start to pick up on who owns what voice, which is quite handy, things like that.
Plus new players can also take a rifleman slot and merge into another squad if they don't want anything specialised.
rather have them take a special slot and hand the equipment to someone so we get extra
What software do you use to record your Arma missions?
DXTORY and Shadowplay are honestly everything you will ever need.
shadowplay has issues (choose between recording all your burps and farts into the audio track that's not separated from video audio or not recording your own proximity or radio audio without autohotkey fuckery). also people like me who release the mic key too quickly have a solution on teamspeak that keeps the mic open for half a second longer, but in shadowplay it gets cut off. also if you like playing in windowed fullscreen FUCK YOU since if your second monitor is of a different aspect ratio than the one you're playing on the video gets squashed to the other aspect ratio for no reason. on the pro side it's super easy since it's always on though, file splitting saves from corruption headaches and no essentially no performance impact. the fps counter doesn't look obnoxious either. would recommend OBS or dxtory over it though, I just can never get either to work the way I want them.
also people like me who release the mic key too quickly have a solution on teamspeak that keeps the mic open for half a second longer
What's this? EDIT: I got it.
What software do you use to record your Arma missions?
Using OBS all the time.
holy shit it's going to take 7 hours
set the max connections to 5 under advanced options in the repositories tab
I love playing Arma but my friends are always busy. I'd love to join with you guys but I'm not that good and I don't really know if I got what you guys need for the missions.
As long as you can't drive you're good. Also for the training mission today, will it help me if i look over it earlier? or should i hold off?
Alright, I'll be an AT Rifleman within Charlie
Great, if you want to you should do some basic practice with the AT launcher you will use to get comfortable with it before the mission. I usually do that with I take any kind of specialist. That reminds me, Mallow what are the AT launchers we will be using?

Croguy nudes when?
Thank you to Croguy for hosting that arty training session, and dealing with our fuckups. Ace loading is utterly fucked. You can not pick up rounds specifically and load them into mortars.

I was a bullet magnet though :v:

How do you download from the US repo. It's closer to Rocka than the EU
How do you download from the US repo. It's closer to Rocka than the EU
Prfn.se should automatically redirect you to the American mirror.
Well found out there's no water for the morning. So I won't be showing up because I don't want to stick around while that's the case.
