That was a pretty rad throw. Making a highlights video of the OP. Nothing special.
I'll make the Last Stand at the palace and retreat via BTR have their own videos as they are a bit long for the highlight video.
The OP was pretty fun for me, Baker could have used some more contact at their defence line but the city fighting was pretty rad, especially the fighting at the palace. That was some intense shit.
Also destroying the Hind that was going for us in the BTR was rad as well.
The retreat order kind of fucked Charlie up. Our defenses at the Construction Yard were way bigger and we covered basically the whole fields up to Baker with HMG and HAT fire.
Everyone kind of let their guard down at the Substation though and since the place was impossibly difficult to defend(bunkers laced a single market house rather than the powerline yard) we couldn't do anything against approaching vehicles.
It was pretty fun though! Bit FUBAR but even a defeat is good if you have fun losing. And this was a fun defeat that's for sure.

I will say that I did think that contacts were perhaps too few on the ground, but this was for a variety of reasons, one being that the AI were all cowards and ran away at the first opportunity (I should have asked Cuel for the disable fear module thing he had), another being that I was stretched thin, I had to deal with spawning AI, armoured vehicles and cars to fight three different squads in three different locations, as well as giving respawns loadouts because I'm bad and finally, everyone was ~500 meters out from the city (except for Baker) when I intended for you to use the natural cover of the city, which meant that I couldn't keep it that compact
I also feel like more contact could have been useful inside the city as well, I should have gotten the AI to search and garrison buildings so they could shoot at you from the rooftops
In regards to complaints about lack of AT, that was mostly intentional and intended to force you to pull back, additionally the weaponry given was all short-range as I intended for you to fight inside the city where LAWs and anti-tank grenades would be viable
The thing with people spawning with AAF kits was a result of me attempting to give you all crewman kits when you respawned, I became aware of the error at the last minute, couldn't be bothered to fix it, and I resorted to killing innocent AI to give you fucks proper pants
If there are any complaints people would like to raise, I'll address them, but I will admit I'm a terrible zeus

That's fair, I still had a good bit of fun fighting in the palace. The close calls with the CAS dropping bombs outside the walls, the palace collapsing and the BRDM that straight-up drove into the palace was pretty rad though.
The retreat via the BTR where the hind was chasing us was sweet as well. Wish we had a few more chasing contacts.

I think the "fallback into the city thing" would've worked better if you didn't give the engineers so many bunkers. We had a real good defensive line at Able but even then we still had some left over. I tried to make some fallback points but we got encircled, just like I knew we eventually would. We held the line though.
I think the ability to place bunkers was cool. I'd love to see a mission similar, but more condensed. The same, but with more people and the holding line a little farther back. The retreat for us didn't make sense. We were holding up well.
I personally had fun, until I was put in charge, I think I didn't do awfully being in command of my squad.

The impetus for that was that Baker just evaporated
I'd just like to say the mission was one of the best we've played in a long time, I prefered the lower player count and focus on base building and defence.
Reminded me of the good old days back when we had like 30-35 people.
