Oh fucking yes please
i refuse to believe that arma can handle the elevators without me glitching through them and dieing of something

I've been using the Atlas LHD a lot when it first came out, and I never had died a single time to the Elevator. The Model May sink slightly into the elevator but the actual collisions are fine.
Assuming they haven't fucked up the elevators since the Atlas LHD was donated to them.
looks like if he doesn't move, he floats into the elevator
I really like the functionality of that CUP LHD, as I liked it in the Atlas version. I'd really want to see a purpose to it, though. You're given more use of the map, since you don't need to spawn on dry land - this is good; but with that much carrying capacity, I'd like to see it being used for a persistent campaign - a start of an invasion or w/e. I'm still not convinced by ALiVE - I've had too many problems with its persistence and general functionality.
But I really like the idea of having to transport all your kit for the entire duration of the campaign over to your company harbour and starting your missions from then on out, and it having a tangible gameplay purpose. I don't really see the point in transporting a load of stuff over to dry land on a one-off mission basis - seems pretty trivial if the follow-up mission starts with all kit on land anyway, defeating the purpose of the LHD other than a roleplay "we done did this" attitude. At least with a persistent operation its done with purpose.
The keys for Chernarus winter are on the server, we might have a game later.
Also, I'll be adding an airborne FAC in a littlebird to the mission, but I can't add it in the signup screen, so is there anyone who particularly wants to take that role?

If you don't mind an occasional crash every now and then, I'll take it.

FAC is a fairly important role, so if you do take it, make sure you know how to fly and also direct air assets

As long as you're at least trying
Just make sure to be descriptive. "We need a sortie on that building" isn't enough when you're fighting in a shithole the size of Fallujah. CAS usually shoots at pixels, anyways.
Anyone up for some comfey downtime around 1930?
I'm down if I get home from work on time. Or I might just join 30 minutes later.
awh yes boys i'd be up for it and be zoos to be a t e r r i b l e person

Fancy new water shader.
Screen Space reflections on the water?
Also when did FP get Twitter embedding?
I always felt the water settings in ARMA in terms of vehicles, fighting, graphics, etc. weren't on par with everything else.
