Does anybody have good advice on creating missions in the editor for ARMA3? Im making a couple small ones for my friends and I to dick around on. is it possible to alter the loadout of a person and just other general tips

The BMP-1 is the biggest vehicle I've managed to fit onto it and it is amphibious although it doesn't want to move when you have something in the back. But I wouldn't mind this being released as a standalone although it never will.
I just discovered the beauty of custom loadouts in mission making. So. Fun.

You can stick static weapons in this as well so it can basically become an amphibious mortar carrier or self propelled howitzer.

anyway, looking back the bottom picture looks less hazy (new lighting system, HDR or bloom ?) and the sky looks ten times better

The ground definitely looks different. So does the grass, which has it's color affected by the ground. I'd assume it's some ground texture work that's been done, possibly after all this time maybe it's some kind of implementation of a logic map to improve ground texture, as described here.

That's my guess at least, although it was intended for mid-range textures, there aren't any in that pic.
