I think I've figured out the solution to the weight problem. Put everything you don't need for immediate combat in your rucks (spare ammo, repair kits, adult diapers) and leave them at the ORP (Objective Rally Point). If you guys aren't designating ORPs before moving out to an objective, I highly recommend you do so from this point forward. An ORP should be defensible for at least a short amount of time, and far enough away from the objective that you cannot be seen, heard or fired upon from it.

PSA: Radios in ACRE are half-duplex. Only one person can speak at a time. Keep this in mind. I guess if you have something urgent to say "Break-break" or something. It's just important people aren't interrupting each other on radio. If you interrupt something people wont get half a message, people will get no message as comms is reduced to a garbled mess.
